How about melting some butter and some syrup together with a small tin of condensed milk and mixing in the rice krispies and placing in a greased baking tray? Sort of homemade ricekrispy squares that you can buy?0

Mars Bar cake,
3oz butter
3 mars bars,
3 cups rice crispies,
200g bar of milky bar,
extra 1oz butter.
Melt the 3oz butter and the mars bars together. Mix with rice crispies and spread in a tin.
Melt the 1oz butter and milky bar together, then spread on top of the rice crispie mixture. Place in fridge until hard, then cut into squares.0 -
mmm lots of sickly fattening ideas there! excellent! Will experiment with these ideas. I don't think I'll want rice krispies ever again after this little episode
thank you

what about crushing them, mix with herbs or spices and using them instead of breadcrumbs for chicken legs, potato croquettes or scotch eggs?
Or mixed with grated cheese and paprika as a topping for cauliflower cheese?0 -
Have you tried giving them to him with a little sugar on the top?
Might make him eat them as they taste less boring :grinheart0 -

I used to make a tasty savoury Indian snack with them, but I've lost the recipe. I Googled & found a similar sounding one HERE but can't actually vouch for it as I haven't tried this particular recipe out
(I'd definitely use the chick pea noodles mentioned, rather than the chow mein ones the recipe specifies)0 -
Rice Crispies cereal has gone a bit soft. Any suggestions on what to do with it as it is nearly a full packet. Thanks.Jasmine0

Spread it on you driveway for that posh country "gravel drive" sound.
Alternatively, make rice crispy cakes.
Mix a load of melted chocolate into them then stick in the fridge.
Yum.0 -
rice crispie cakes are good if youve kids or you like chocolate - use tesco value milk chocolate, melt and mix in!:j0
