High Gas Bill This Quarter!!!

We moved into our house in september, we recieved our 1st bill in nov for £150 each gas & electric.
Recieved our bill today for dec - feb its £150 electric & £350 gas :eek:.
I do not understand how it is so high, we thought our last bill was expensive so we have been really tight with the heating. Our kids are always moaning they are freezing, we all put our dressing gowns on the second we get in & sit under our quilts.
Our heating is on 6-8 when we are up & getting dressed in morning & 6-8 at night so everyone can get bathed & kids go to bed.
