I 100% agree that this country should have a benefits system in place as you never know what is round the corner.
What I do not beleive in however is the total unfairness of the one we have in place.
Why when my husband works 12 hours a day 6/7 days a week does it work out that we would be better off on benefits (I have done the entitledto.com) thing. We dont get any help (apart from the tiny statutary child one) at all. He takes home 1400 per month. now try paying a mortgage running a car feeding 2 kids 2 adults and 2 cats council tax, bills car ect with that.
now i read about this lovely activity holiday place that you can send your kids too for 299 per child or 49 if you are on benefits
come on
are they tring to encourage people not too work
I might be wrong, in fact I would love to be wrong Iwould love to hear from someone who is married has 2 kids and is loads worse off on benefits (bearing in mind rent council tax reduction ect) Im not knocking you as I have previously said I 100% beleive in them but there sould be some sort of help out there for people who do work as well.

If you take home £1400 per month then that is more than a family with 2 children would take home. You havnt really thought your rant through have you?
Your whole little speech is all based on presumption and FYI-entitledto.com is not always reliable.
:rolleyes:Having a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona0 -
I am seething about the holiday for my son.
Are you telling me it is fair that one person can pay 299 and one person can pay 49. for the same thing. when said person is not necessarily loads better off.0 -
 well said, I know exacty how you feel, the whole system really annoys me, I would be better off if I was single parent (rather than married with husband and us both working)
It really encourages you to work and bring your kids up with both parents together.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
So what exactly is your benefit question?I 100% agree that this country should have a benefits system in place as you never know what is round the corner.

No-you would be around £400 perhaps slightly more worse off per month.Having a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona0 -
