    Hi all,

Welcome to the board redstararnie76!!!! (you can only join in if you let us in to all your comping secrets....:T )

Hi, wish I had some great pearls of wisdom to add....but actually, I don't... I'm totally addicted to comping and spend nearly 2 hours a day  entering them online, but not getting a great return yet. I did better last year when I actually managed to win a couple of (smallish) cash sums - fantastic, but just as I was starting to feel there was a light at the end of the tunnel I wrote off OH's car and had to put it towards a car.... This year, so far at least, any wins seem few and far between - however if you are bored it's a good way to kill some time and dream.
Anyway, following your diary with great interest and hoping that you have some good luck soon on the job front - you deserve it for your positive attitude alone
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

*sniffs around* Do I smell a meet-up coming up?
Meet-up?! Groovy.  abscess type thing is better today. Whoo hoo! Gonna keep an eye on it, will have to go to dentist anyway as due a check-up but will keep using the anti-septicy mouthwash I got.

I think the trial board for diaries is a good idea- all those people who p*ss and moan about diairies don't have to read them, and all those that are interested can head on over. Seems like a good idea to me :T

Have you ever tried Nytol, i was thinking of getting some?
I've used the herbal ones you can get. Don't think they are Nytol- nope just check they are natrasleep. They are quite good :)
  • Hello Blondie,

I have just read your diary from start to finish and i have to say you had me laughing - its just your style of writing and the funny jokes you make, probably without even knowing your doing it.

I have just subscribed to your thread and will be checking in whenever i get a chance online.

Good luck in the job hunt - sending you lots and lots of luck!

    Morning peeps,

Well weekend is over and back at work  What joy!! lol

Good weekend? Went to quick for me. Me and OH decided to go out for lunch yesterday- i know not very MSE but i've been poorly and wasn't up to cooking a roast!! But i wish i had, money down the drain as was no where near as good as mine!:o Leasson learnt.

It's the OH's bday this weekend and we are having some friends round for drinks on the friday i think to keep it cheap. Then on the sat (his birthday) we have the footy as we are season ticket holders and hopefully my birthday message should be in the match programme:D

Only just got online, sorry to hear about the job Blondie, like everyone said something better is around the corner. The fruit smoothie must of given you a nice boost, I've had one of those frozen bag ones before (from asda) they're magic!

I had a super dooper MS and exercise filled weekend planned, ended up shopping on saturday and sat like a potato watching costume dramas yesterday, with a take away thrown in for good measure. Ho-hum, it's Monday so heres to another week ladies!

Morning all! :D Gonna make a lot of people sick by saying: I'm not at work today! Whoo hooo :j Got a lot of house work to do today (kitchen needs a good sorting because i cooked a roast yesterday and it has inevitabley ended up looking like a bomb site!) and need to sort out insurance as when OH cancelled insurances last week it appears he did it with immediate effect, rather than waiting until end of month like I told him to. Trolls!grumbledance.gif So for last two days we have been insurance free  Luckily I managed not to burn the house down :p
  • Re: Nytol - I take these sometimes (when OH insists on snoring right in my ear) and find that the herbal ones don't work. I can only drift off with the mediacated ones, but even then I wake up groggy in the morning feeling like I've had a skinful. But that might be because I ignore the "do not take with alcohol" warning lol.
Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP

    THEN - it gets better....

I get a call from a recruitment agent saying can she send my CV to a company? Turns out it is my old companys main rival! he he So i said YES. (no clause in my contract about working for rival company etc)
1o mins later she calls back and I HAVE AN INTERVIEW TOMORROW WITH THEM AT 9AM!!! :j :j :j :j
