Sorry that you didn't get the job. Just think that if it were the right job for you then you would have got it. Move onwards and upwards and you will soon get the perfect job for you.

    Chin up :o

    Hi,
Hope you'll let me join in? I'm new to this area of MSE (I could have done with finding it 10 years ago), I sneaked in from the comping section.
I've just read your entire thread in one sitting (not easy to do with a 3 year old trying to distract you) and I agree that you're a great writer - I bet you write great copy!
Anyway, sorry to hear about your difficulties but I think you're doing fantastically well getting these interviews in the first place...
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
  • Hi Blondie

Just watched Martin on ITV in between the Corrie episodes. He might persuade me to go down a Brand or 2 but in the eye candy dept I Don't get it .!! Noel Edmonds - well 20 yrs ago yes but now he wears those awful shirts!! Anyway I hope you are feeling better . You deserve the best as you certainly brighten up our lives. I apologise for any typos but I've been doing a Becky Grainger ( Corrie) and had a bit too much wine !! Hope you all have a great weekend
  • sending big hugs on the job thing........................really cant bring myself to use the threesome smilie.........

onwards and upwards though, head up, chest out and on to the next one.

Laura - I did think it looked like a purple alf! Now I get it ;)

Blondie - I'm SO sorry to hear you didn't get the job. I've had a lot of those calls over the past year. Don't let it get you down, like Rosered says, a rolling stone gathers no moss, you mustn't stop :grouphug:

Rosered - You can start by yourself and once you're at his level, you can both run together! Thats what me and OH are doing ;) You and I running together, it's gonna have to be a weekend thing, I think I could make it to York in about 8 hours walking :rotfl:

Everyone is so lovely and they make you feel really good about your own progress, not like you should be running long distances like the rest. There's a few of us who are only starting so you won't be alone either!

(Mellika - up so late!??!! heh heh)

Blondie - so sorry about the job - what a bummer. They clearly can't see a good thing when its right under their noses. I know its hard, and disappointing and can shake your confidence, but we think you are brilliant - and we haven't even met you!! Another interview will come along, and it will be the right job - but feel free to have a day off from being positive and a MSE etc - chocolate hobnobs are definately called for today!;)

Up early, rather! :D I have a condition with many symptoms and one of them is sleep disturbances. Every once in a while it REALLY messes with my sleep patterns. So basically I went to bed at about 10pm and by 2am I was awake. Exhausted, but awake ;) When that happens I usually get on MSE and look for recipes :o

Blondie - Big hugs to you hun, hope you get to enjoy your weekend despite everything xx

Well. today is my one year anniversary of being a DFW! And how am I celebrating you may ask. By having some kind of tooth abcess that's how. SUCKS  And I'm at work.
  • Hi all,
Well after yesterday (which i shall rename 'The Great Depression') I am feeling better today. THANK you for all your messages. You lot cheer me up more than my friends do!:j :j

I sat in my pj's, ate my body weight in bran flakes while watching Corrie and then Bridget Jones Diary. Then promptly feel asleep on the sofa with the cat on my tummy. Forward to 2am, Sparky wakes me up by coming in from the pub *TROLL*, and finds me all bedraggled with the cat eating the cereal out the bowl from the floor. CLASSY. :D

So i have puffy eyes this morning, but nothing that some cold teaspoons wont fix and ive made a smoothie for breakfast. :j :j Have to say in Farmfoods they sell 10 packets of frozen fruit for smoothies for £1!!! You just add either a yogurt or fruit juice to blend. YUMMY.

So today is a new day, i am forgetting about job hunting til Monday. HURRAH. I have no plans, but might visit my sister and take my nephew to chase - opps i mean FEED the ducks. :D

I am going to plan a healthy dinner of chicken and veg and possibly read some life affirming book.......erm....ok...u know im lying!!:rotfl:
Im probably going to have beans on toast for dinner and watch TV! lol

Mellika - I have problems sleeping too. I wake up about a million times a night and just sit with the cat. Have you ever tried Nytol, i was thinking of getting some?

Welcome to the board redstararnie76!!!! (you can only join in if you let us in to all your comping secrets....:T )

Rosered - am going to take your lead and call Sparky Troll in public after naughty antics. If you cnt blame them, shame them!!
Hugs for your friend. Like i said if there is anything I can help with xxx

Right - so lets all have a Martin loving - MSE day!!

My aim is to not spend any money today (not that i have any..LOL).

Its nice and sunny here, but cold, so i might just go for a walk. Dreaming of course that im in the countryside where Rosered lives. Not quite the same walking along the Bypass with all the building yelling at you. Hmmnnn could walk to the park but full of p*sshead's and used condoms.
    CC1 - £250 (PAID) :j :D
    CC2 - £2400
    CC3 - £3200
    I hate redundancy..it sucks.
