Hi everyone - can I join the 'feeling rank' club please? NOT a hangover - but have some weirdo virusy thing at the mo. Feel really dizzy all the time - and had to miss Wembley yesterday which was a major bummer.

Can't even bring myself to attempt a HUZ... - no see - I just can't do it.

Oh poor Rupe, think there are viruses going around - all the guys in here are moaning as only guys can! I'm trying my best to look ill too but apparantly it's not working, I'm just getting strange looks instead :D

Please can I start a petition for the Huzzah girls to also use Gadzooks - a greatly underused word?!?

Also, you may wish to see this fantastic news story about how a supermarket are renaming a fish 'Colin' because their customers are too embarrassed to call it by its real name! Class!

I got more than strange looks, I was moaning that I was freezing, wandering about with a strange (I say strange cos it belongs to a stranger) cardigan that I found, draped over my shoulders and moaning to anyone who would listen that it was cold and I didn't feel well. Some numpty asked for the heating to be put on and now I really am going to pass out (with the heat). Would it be shameful to admit I am ok and ask for the heating to be turned down? :o

What does Gadzooks mean? Also, these people are just trying to make a 'cod' of the poor pollack! Quite funny actually, can you imagine it, can I have two slice of Colin :rotfl:

Imagine if the poor fishmonger's name is Colin Pollack - could get v v confusing.

  • To be honest I'd be more embarrassed asking for 2 pieces of Colin than Pollack!!!
The humble pollack will be sold by Sainsbury's as "colin" -- pronounced "co-lan," and French for the closely-related hake

And is it just me or does the new word, when said correctly, also sound very similar to another part of the nether regions?!?!?

I have looked up gadzooks and have found it quite surprising - ahem. Here is a sentence of where it would be used:

Gadzooks Mrs Miggins, bring me more veal pies!

Will try and use it at least once a day, huzzah for gadzooks!!

Swinstie - I am getting just a little concerned now - if you start saying 'Hey nonny nonny' in the next couple of days I may have to alert the authorities....and Colin;)
