why do we do it to ourselves rubes? at least tell me you had a better night out than me?! x

Because it ALWAYS seems like such a good idea at the time! Hmmm...not sure if my night was much better. I didn't insult anyone (except perhaps the toilet attendant in the club by not tipping her but I'm against that in principle - £1 for handing me a paper towel?! Jog on). However, I did manage to text a guy I haven't seen for about a year (pre the recent ex) in a drunken stupor and somehow agreed to him calling me tonight. He's a laugh and fun to hang out with (we agreed long ago it would never be a relationship) but I wonder if I'm quite ready... Clearly my drunk self is!

Was hoping for an NSD today but am going to have to go to Pret and buy stodge to beast on - feel RANK!

Yep - manky fat and yucky pretty much sums up how I feel today! Yesterday and today are total write-offs food wise. Back to good behaviour and salad tomorrow.

Eeek on the money front. I spent £Scaryamount at the weekend and although I know how much I'm STILL scared to check my bank account. This is NOT the behaviour of an MSE Stalwart. Must try harder!

Hi Everyone, Glad we all survived the blackout! How jealous I was of all these tales of drunken weekends. Being hormanal and an oldie here and now cutting down ciggies still 6 a day, 1 glass of red goes straight to my head! Been to see nurse and now got to try and half my 6 to 3 in the next 2 weeks. Such pressure. Going to update my diary now.
Living not far from Clacton and used to work there can't believe Blondie having such a great time there I think she's eloped with the Chairman!

Ha ha! Genius! I don't think she was THAT keen on the job!

Good luck with cutting down even further with the old ciggies. I can't seem to kick my habit which is really frustrating. It's OK during the week - I only have about 1 or 2 a day but when I'm out at the weekends it gets out of control! Anyway, well done on how good you've been so far! x

Hi all! Not working today so I have been very busy cleaning and tidying the bedroom. I do declare that I may now officially join the Huzzah! club as I used it in a post on another thread today:
    Quote:

    Extras
    1. fill a binbag of old winter stuff for charity shop!! Done! And had a bag delivered at the end of last week (good timing)and they just collected it! Huzzah! :T
    So there you go :D

think Blondie may have gone for four days so she should be back later today or tomorrow, I think. Don't quote me on that I'm not 100% :D

Good luck on cutting down on cigarettes Robsmum. Perhaps do a few days on 5 per day, then a few on 4 per day and then down to 3, so it's not a massive leap. Good luck anyway, makes me glad I was only ever a social smoker so giving up was not a problem at all for me, just don't ever ask me to give up on alcohol!:rotfl:

Right- I'm orf to eat a jacket potato for lunch, with plenty of butter and cheese! Huzzah!! :D

Well done for having such a productive day off Laura! Also, am loving the fact that you're a Huzzah Evangelist, spreading the good word among other threads. Huzzah for the Huzzah Club!! :D

I'm glad one of us was paying attention to Blondie's diary anyway. I shouldn't think she'd leave us all hanging like this if she wasn't taking bracing seaside walks in Clacton for another day. Well spotted that girl!

    Mmmmm...butter and cheese... :p

Yes chavs we will be for four (glorious ???) days in a caravan on a sun holiday. Note to self - take white stilettos. (JOKE!)
Right- double checked and it was four days. I searched for 'Clacton' in the forums and this thread is just about the only thread talking about Clacton:rotfl:so it was easy to find Blondies original post :D

ps there was almost more cheese than potato but it was pretty darn good ! :D
Also- I need to go to the shop to buy some cheap vodka as I'm makin an aromatherapy spray and the vodka acts as a preservant but I'm worried I'm gonna look like an alcoholic if I just buy cheap vodka :rotfl:

What is the aromatherapy spray for Laura? I've made an air freshner using vodka (cheap of course) and orange essential oil, it was quite good but I kinda grudged using vodka even if it was the stuff that gives you major hangovers! I found a bottle of Absolut under the kitchen sink I forgot I had but it's in one of the gold bling covers that is just too nice to crack open. Just don't use Huzzar, Huzzah! :D

Mmm, baked potato and cheese *goes in a wee day-dream*

hey Laura - we believe you re the aromatherapy spray/cheap vodka:rotfl:

Hi everyone - can I join the 'feeling rank' club please? NOT a hangover - but have some weirdo virusy thing at the mo. Feel really dizzy all the time - and had to miss Wembley yesterday which was a major bummer.

Can't even bring myself to attempt a HUZ... - no see - I just can't do it.
