I now go to the library and get books out, which has saved me a fortune. My local library is really good for stocking new books - great money saver as I was forever buying new books in Borders.....go in there to get a magazine and £20+ later.....

    :j

:rotfl: Sounds like the bookworm's equivalent of popping into 'Asda for 4 pints of milk...':rotfl:

Actually our local library has been closed for a refurbishment for a couple of months - haven't known what to do with myself. I look around my house expecting to see a book I haven't read yet....there are none!

Morning everyone, or Huzzah to the Huzzah girls!

Well I just had a health-check this morning cos I'm starting a 28 day detox diet, there is never a good time cos of nights out and Easter and OMG is that cupcake true to size cos on my computer it is huge!!

And, it turns out I am 7lbs lighter than I thought I was, my scales are so not correct, they are getting binned! Yeehah!

Hope everyone is well and hope the sun comes out, it's a bit cloudy here!
  • Morning everyone :)

I am LOVING all this huzzah talk! My friend says it alot and I have no idea where it came from.

If I remember correctly I once saw an advert for "huzzah" vodka when I was in Dublin....yes I have just checked my photobucket and I have a photo of the billboard!!

Me and my boyfriend/ex boyfriend (I don't know!) had an alright night last night. He ended up going out to talk to his friends about everything and when he came back he'd calmed down and we had a really long serious conversation. The contract on our house runs out next month (thank god we're renting!) so we're gonna move in with our parents then and take it from there...sigh.

The good thing is though...this is a perfect excuse to comfort eat! I have a "ham and cheese melt" with salt and vinegar crisps and a chocolate bar for my lunch :D

  • Morning all

It's really cloudy here, so much so that I din't get outta bed til 8:10 coz I thought it was too early............that'll teach me not to check the clock!
Amazingly I still made it to the bus stop for 8:30.....................god knows how:rotfl:

MNI Catherine - I hope you manage to sort everything out with bf/xbf, sounds like he's being quite grown up about it all............amazing for a troll:D

Swinstie - Wish I could lose 7lbs just by having a health check:rotfl: Yay you, what do you have to do on the 28day detox??? Sounds like hard work, especially with easter round the corner!!

Whoever was talking about books.............I LOVE books *GEEK*
I'll read pretty much anything, I used to spend loads in waterstone/borders/wh smith/amazon and then discovered the library is free and now practically live there, a job in a library is y idea of heaven...........the smell of the books Mmmmmm....................think I went a bit too far there:o Also if you books at home u don't read anymore theres a website called readitswapit, does pretty much what it says and you only pay for postage, theres tonnes on there!!!!

Blondie - Good luck for this afternoon:D :D Will be checking and refreshing on here at around 3pm, hopefully you'll be back by then, just make sure you do update us before your holiday pls:D :D

Blimey I turn my back for five seconds and you lot have cranked up another four pages!! Jeez.....

Blondie WICKED NEWS, hope everything goes well, make sure you tell us today before we lose our connection to your life for the weekend!!! Still got my fingers crossed girl (although momentarily uncrossed them so I can type :T)

I love the Huzzah club - my word is woot! I say it all the time and it works in absolutely every context... woot!

As for books, my library is tiny but I'm moving to somewhere with a really big one so that's exciting (although it's currently shut, I hope it opens again soon:o I get through about a book a week - all that time on the tube gives you time to read!!)

What else did I miss????MNI hope you are feeling okay about your situation, maybe all you need is a bit of space and once you've moved apart you might rekindle the lurrrrve...doesn't always follow but the main thing to remember is you need to be happy!!!

Princess- omg I was working in the pub last night and a girl came in and ordered a bottle of wine. I stared at her because I recognised her.. then as I gave her the change for the vino I realised she LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE YOU!!! Then I got a bit weirded out that a person in the Real World looked like a virtual friend...anyway!

Recovered from my primarni splurge, I got flipping shedloads including three pairs of shoes so I don't feel bad any more. Could eat some more onion rings though.

Biscuit of choice today: PARTY RINGS :D well it is friday!:rotfl:

So just gonna catch up on the other pages... :)
    End of 2010 I was £8,007.66 in debt :(
    Today's total: £7,297.06 :o
