Oh yes magazines - they are my vice!

My current favourite is In Style - I'm even very sad and buy the American version from Borders too!

The new UK edition has just come out today and there's nothing like a nice big glossy magazine to put a smile on your face!! (Good god - I can't believe I just admitted that!)

    Hey all.

Blondie GREAT NEWS:T :T :T So fantastic that you are meeting the chairman tomorrow da da daaa.

Dozy & MNICatherine - really sorry to read about your man troubles. Catherine - you are having such a time of it - no words of wisdom but hugs all round.

I have had a bit of a day. Had to take a really close friend to the GP today - and we ended up having to rush into hospital. She's expecting and its all getting a bit complicated. Am quite concerned for her - and in the middle of it all I'm trying to field 'urgent' calls from work, even though its my day off.

Hmm - tilly can you send me some cupcakes asap please??;)

Oh Rupe, hope your friend is ok. There seems to be alot of that around, a few guys in my work (their partners obviously) have had complications BUT all has been well with everybody - mothers and babies all doing well! Will wish her luck - is she due soon?

MellyB, I gave up buying magazines as I once had so much I kept confusing the pile for a coffee table - I now get the Fabulous mag on a Sunday and sometimes 'treat' myself to the mag from Superdrug, not forgetting the free mag from Boots showing all those lovely things I shouldn't buy, ha!

Oh Rupe I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Sorry if I have this wrong but is it you that's looking after a terminally ill friend too at the moment?

You really are a lovely individual either way - I do hope your pregnant friend is OK.

I am SO addicted to magazines. I used to buy Glamour, In Style, Vogue, Elle, Marie-Claire plus Grazia, Heat and Look EVERY SINGLE MONTH! I now don't allow myself any at all and I really miss them. On the plus side because I'm not gazing at fashion 'must have' lists every day I'm not craving new clothes as much... Huzzah!

I'm getting quite scared now, I'm going into my subscribed threads and willing a new post to pop on so I can read it - helllppp! Eek - can't post a smilie on sis's comp for some reason - weird!

I am even contemplating buying a laptop, is there a site for Forum of Anonymous Threads (or FAT for short) starting up? I think I need help, or just some food, maybe it is starvation setting in. It's gorgeous outside and I am sitting at a computer *gives self a shake*. Ok I am better now, going to go home and bite my fingernails til tomorrow.

Bye everyone (oh I am so jealous of home computer peeps)! x

Blondie good luck for tomorrow, Rupe hope your friend is better soon, Ruby - Huzzah, Princess - don't sink and everyone else - Yeehah!!!

    Ok, I'm going, honest....

I think PM means private message.

I'm new to all this could be completely wrong!

On the magazine front, I've managed to cut down -I just get (just she says!) In Style and Glamour monthly now. I like Now and Look every week (and sometimes Hello!) - I think I need help!

Should set up a MAA meeting for 'Magazines Addicted Annonymous..

Tilly once again your genius is threatening to ruin my diet. I'd best dash off and make my 'delicious' veg stir fry before my cupcake craving overwhelms me and I ramraid Tesco Express for Betty Crocker instant cake mix.
