Having caught up since lunchtime on all the news. Good luck (can't remember who) on meeting chairman.
Princess Hamper Instructions; Use cheap basket (markets, Poundland, Jumble Sale- garden centres and florists too dear).
Put layer of shredded paper, bubblewrap,or scrunched up carrier bags in base. Cover with either tissue paper or wrapping paper.
Arrange all goodies on top. Sprinkle confetti, pot pouri, petal or sweeties around. Wrap with cellophane (buy by metre from florist about 60p mtre). Stick a bow on. Job done!
Going to seriously look at selling some after Easter, EBay could be a good start. Any other ideas for selling ideas would be gratefully recieved. How about a cupcake hamper??

You really are a lovely individual either way - I do hope your pregnant friend is OK.
I am SO addicted to magazines. I used to buy Glamour, In Style, Vogue, Elle, Marie-Claire plus Grazia, Heat and Look EVERY SINGLE MONTH! I now don't allow myself any at all and I really miss them. On the plus side because I'm not gazing at fashion 'must have' lists every day I'm not craving new clothes as much... Huzzah!
Thanks ruby! Its Rosered who is looking after her terminally ill friend. She is an :A . I'm not an angel - but I'm glad I was there and my friend wasn;t alone when it all happened. She has a great OH - one of the good ones - so she's in v good hands now! Don't want to go to bed in case there's any update on how she's doing - but there is only so much tea and toast you can eat to keep you awake.:rolleyes:Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Morning everyone,
HUZZAH!
Well done with the magazines! I've managed to cut right down as I used to get Marie Clare, Cosmo, Company, Closer - now I just get the select few and to be fair a lot of the weekly ones have the same stuff in them anyway!
I now go to the library and get books out, which has saved me a fortune. My local library is really good for stocking new books - great money saver as I was forever buying new books in Borders.....go in there to get a magazine and £20+ later.....
