What else, oh detox, it's the Boots 28 Day Detox, basically just take two tabs a day for 28 days and try to eat healthy, it's a big con but I'm a sucker for quick fixes - oh and weighed myself at my mum's, I'm the same weight as on mines, hope the docs scales aren't wrong
I seriously flirted with the idea of joining you on this detox.. then looked at Boots website.

When detoxing it is essential that you drink more fluid and adapt your diet to ensure you optimise the detox process. Eat more fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, brown rice, wholemeal bread and try and reduce your intake of dairy products, processed and convenience foods and tea, coffee, alcohol, sweets and chocolate

After reading that I realised I would have nothing to eat! :rotfl: Also the doctors scales will be right as they are much more accurate and have to be kept that way. So happy dance for loosing 7Ib with minimum effort

Think I'm gonna watch eastenders on i-player and see what all the fuss is about..

And on the reading front. I love reading. Got £35 Waterstone vouchers to spend for my birthday  Reading 'Let the Right One In' by a Swedish guy called John Ajvide Lindqvis,.which has been made into a film. The book is very good :D Haven't seen the film so can't comment on that. :)

It sounds a bit easy, hope you have a lot of willpower to avoid too many cakes:D I know I couldn't if I'm told I can't/shouldn't have something it makes me more determined to havei it:rotfl: let us know how u get on though, be worth considering doing it next time I can't get into my fave dress:rolleyes:

Will let you know, but I probably will end up a quivering wreck, just thinking about not eating bad things is making me nervous. I had fried rice, curry sauce, chips and prawn crackers last night to prepare me for what lies ahead!

My OH is standby tonight and Sunday so a quiet night on Sat, but just been invited by a friend for lunch on Sunday, I really want to catch up with her but at the same time can do without spending £20 to £30 on lunch and drinks (non-alcoholic of course)

I agree, the thought of not eating chocolate and cutting out tea/alcohol is scaring me, but I need to lose another few pounds, damnation! (to quote Princess) for always being a skinny youngster and now a blobby adult. I am also vertically challenged so need to weigh less! I am up for the challenge, I think :D

Princess, it might be your computer, when I post from my sis's the smilie faces refuse point blank to smile!

My friend has came back and said if we want to save money going for lunch on Sunday, we can get a Subway and go down the park (if it's nice) and to bring my skates! We both bought the same rollerskates a couple of years, now I'm not talking inline skates here, I mean the ones with 4 wheels - they are pink and white and totally take me back to my youth:j

Apropos of nothing (except a tenuous reference to DD's post) I pulled a guy in a club about 18 months ago who I thought was probably a bit younger than me but didn't realise by how much until he went up to the bar, muttered something to the barman and was handed his SKATEBOARD. He was 19... :o I promptly took my ancient butt home in a cloud of shame!
