AA only charge for drinks in Ecom they are still free in business class and first class, im flying with AA in June in bus class he he ill let you know how it is, America here I come0

I'm flying with AA in June too...
I hope they don't charge for drinks! Does that mean every kind of drink or just alcoholic ones?
Edit. I'm flying economy =/0 -
How do you use the Tesco points then - am going to Toronto in July and was working out deals. We have flown to Vancouver with BA, Air Canada, Lufthansa, KLM, FlyZoom (RIP) and Globespan.
Zoom were actually quite good - shame they went bump. Flew for a bargain £48 one way once!!
Lufthansa wasn't pleasant, probably as it wasn't a 747 on that route and it was a Christmas period flight - absolutely packed!!
Globespan is carrier of last resort - very poor.
Air Canada gets 3rd place.
KLM gets second place, but only just.
BA gets first place for service, Terminal 5 and the fact that Tesco Clubcard points/BA Miles make our flights very cheap!!0 -

AA - Baggage charges
I flew from Dallas TX to Cincinnati OH in November last year. I had 2 bags to check and a carry on.
I was expecting to have to pay but wasn't charged a penny!
On the drinks - I'm pretty sure it's only alcoholic drinks that are charged trans-atlantic. Flown USeless Airways internally a few times recently and they charge for all drinks! Can't even get a thimble full of water free.
But as I said on my original post. LA - got to be Air NZ.
Otherwise the rest are pretty much the same - IE crap0 -
Well you said BA dont charge for Beer.
not strictly true
In what way is that not strictly true? Unless I've missed a major announcement in the last 24 hours it's strictly true. A recent flight to Newark revealed economy on BA carried mini bottles of lovely Kiwi sparkling wine, of which I had lots. It was an all round great flight, with many empty seats (unlike all other classes which appeared to be full?).
I would go BA / VS everytime as the majority of flights I've had with them have been excellent.
As for North West Airlines. I would not fly on them if paid to do so. Awful, awful airline. I would rather eat my own ar*e.0 -

I had 4 flights (Gatwick - New Orleans via Detroit) including 2 upgrades to Business Class (which should be a good thing!), one engine blown up on take off roll, one engine break down on stand, one union strike, one cancelled flight, one steward being pathetically rude to me when I asked for a beer (Steward - in loud voice so everyone could hear: Sir, I do not believe you are 18, do you have any ID? Me - Yes, this is an international flight ), one check-in staff being exceptionally rude to me (Them: Do you know how late you are for check-in? You obviously have no experience of travelling do you? Me: Erm, i'm here now because this is the time NWA deemed it right to pick me up from the hotel you put me in when my last flight was cancelled?), one 20 hour delay and to top it off the inevitable loss of all my buggage. Oh, I was given compensation. A $75 voucher for flying on NWA.
Might have just been unlucky though!0 -

remind me never to travel at the same time as you
I had a similar experience with US. I was told be a trolley dolley to go and sit down and sleep when i dared asked for some water. they were all trying to sleep on the last 3 rows of the plane.
I wrote a letter of complaint and got $100 off a flight with them. Useless as they are I used it... for the wife
