Which airline is the best to the US and Canada?

I'm looking to book a flight to Canada and the US in the summer and have got various quotes from different airlines. The airlines with the better quotes are Continental, American Airlines and British Airways. Which airline should I choose?

i would base it on price / times.
in cattle they're pretty much of a muchness....

if you know the aircraft type go to www.seatguru.com to compare seat pitch / entertainment etc

i've flown over with AA, BA, virgin, continental, delta, US, northwest, Air NZ.
out of them Air NZ wins hands down with northwest second.

I recently flew with Continental and would definitely recommend them to anyone. Fantastic flight and service was top notch.

The cheapest with the best departure times for your needs. End of.
Doesn't really matter when you are SLC (self loading cargo)
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I've flown with Delta and American and both were very good with Delta perhaps having a very slight upper edge. I have no experience of BA but i dont get a good feeling about them. Not sure why. I feel they care too much for their premium class customers and scorn the cattle whereas the American carriers have a greater sense of equality. I'm probably talking rubbish though..

Flown over with Virgin, BA, Delta, KLM, NorthWest & United.

KLM wins hands down for me in Economy.

    Virgin for Upper.

But as said id base it on times. Bearing in mind though most US carriers do not have seat back entertainment.

    Is this seatback entertainment?

Maybe i just got crappy planes because Delta, NW, AA and United didn't.

A total of 14 flights. Not once.

My Delta flight never :( ... i travel with NWA in May hope they have seatback entertainment!

Like everyone else says i would go with the best time/dates.

delta, last time i flew never. nwa / continental / US do
if you know the model of aircraft look on https://www.seatguru.com to check.
  • I've flown BA, Virgin and Continental...Virgin most often. Virgin and BA have always had a good service...nothing special, but you get what you pay for in cattle class :).

Continental I am *never* flying with again if I can help it. Their food actually made me physically ill, which didn't get my holiday off to a good start.
