I flew with Delta in July and September.
Going to America they had seat back entertainment, but coming back they didnt.
What I foudn bizarre is I flew JFK-ATL and they had seatback, but ATL-LGW they didnt?!0 -
I nealy always fly continental but on Monday I fly Northwest as they are the cheapest!0

I flew with nwa last year and they were very good... they had the tv screens on the back with some very good (recently released) films.0

Lufthansa seems to be the best so far for us.

avoid United ,if anything goes wrong thier customer care is dreadful as I have found out recentlyTo create more positive results in your life, replace
'IF ONLY' with next time0 -
Depends on the route but mostly not much to choose between them in economy.
Cheapest on many routes at the moment is us air who personally I'd avoid & I've found United miserable but my first choices would be Delta, American or Northwest -for the routes I fly I find BA & Virgin overpriced but you may find otherwise on your routes.
For every positive though you'll find someone who loathed the same ailrine-so may as well go for price and timings.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Id def recommend BA. I flew with them to Vancouver last year and they were very good. Ive booked to fly with them to Toronto this year.0

We have flown to Vancouver with BA, Air Canada, Lufthansa, KLM, FlyZoom (RIP) and Globespan.
Zoom were actually quite good - shame they went bump. Flew for a bargain £48 one way once!!
Lufthansa wasn't pleasant, probably as it wasn't a 747 on that route and it was a Christmas period flight - absolutely packed!!
Globespan is carrier of last resort - very poor.
Air Canada gets 3rd place.
KLM gets second place, but only just.
BA gets first place for service, Terminal 5 and the fact that Tesco Clubcard points/BA Miles make our flights very cheap!!British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
Flown a few times...
I'm pretty sure the US carriers no longer offer what the european ones do.. For example you have to pay $5 for a beer on AA, wheras it's all free on BA.
..and don't AA now charge for checked-in luggage, alla Ryanair?
KLM always a good bet, as another poster said.
edit: just thinking? - what's your local airport? - as some carriers now fly from regional airports - eg Continental from Bristol.0 -
