Its a part of system restore mate

C:\Windows\System32\Restore\rstrui.exe

(Far as im aware anyways)

No doubt it is but none of the tools run have attacked or deleted it. I wonder if there is something else working in the background. The filepath would confirm what you suspect and it's correct location.

Thats my thoughts too. No way uninstalling AVG would have done that

Though for simplicities sake ~ id just try creating ANOTHER restore point to see what happens (If anything)

My other thought was to flush all points, but upon reflection your idea seems more sensible - bet to have an infected restore point than none at all.

I will install Avira again,then download Glary Utilities

System Restore will not load.

Reinstalled Avira.
Installed Glary Utilities
Ran 0ne click scan,
Reg cleaner 593 problems found
Startup manager 2 problems found.

Do i just click Repair problems ??

Done that,and just ran SYSTEM FILE CHECKER
still no sys restore.
