Thanks for this, as you said they were all blocked. Do you know how they did this?

They have probably got into your Yahoo account as well, which now suggests you have something nasty lurking on your PC. Once they can access your email account they can stop you getting 'warning' type emails and they stand a chance of getting away with it before you notice there is anything amiss.

Also, I've not used goofbay, never even heard of it. I don't know how my account was compromised. Ebay seem to think it was a phishing email but I've gone through all the old messages from Ebay and they are all genuine.

Same here - never used anything other than the ebay site itself and I never click on links in emails - I've not ebayed for months so have ignored all emails from them as they would be spam.

They also got into my yahoo account and blocked the paypal and ebay addresses - which I didn't think to check until I read this thread - many thanks for the tip.

Though they don't appear to have got into my paypal account - I will be keeping a close eye on it.

Had the account hi jacked as well about 2 months ago, Ebay didn't know about it until I've told them, i've spent around 45 on the chat with someone from Ebay and they sorted out my account.I wonder why would someone go into somebody else'd account and try to sell stuff, mad!
