Yeah but all of a sudden their policy changed, presumably because loads of people (including me) emailed them after reading about this point on the message boards. I emailed saying where I bought Timeout, and confirming my address, but they never replied! It seems they suddenly panicked at the volume of emails, and have acted very strange ever since! And there's no reports of anyone receiving their £8.75 vouchers in the last few days (maybe if you haven't received the £3 vouchers, you can expect the £8.75 ones in the not too distant future................................................... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: )

I feel like a broken record here heyho. Read number 11. you obviously did something to make them suspicious. if you're genuine then prove it to them. I'm sure they'll be reasonable.

Here's a money saving tip: Instead of those expensive sandwiches for lunch - try crackers and cream cheese! Lunch and breakfast for less than a quid! GET IN!
Within a week, you'll have saved enough to buy a CD and not have to worry about vouchers!

There's nothing "suspicious" about applying for a voucher surely - I subscribe to time out and didnt receive a voucher either.0

They can take away our vouchers but THEY'LL NEVER TAKE OUR........ No sorry that's a bit over the top.
False alarm... Tis only a voucher.
Sorry.
Sorry everybody.0 -
I also received the 3 x £3.00 vouchers as a goodwill gesture which is fine by me, not sure why I didn't meet their criteria though? Only thing I can think of is that I don't live in London ( I live in Essex although I travel quite a lot to London) maybe they looked at peoples addresses and then decided to give out vouchers based on this criteria?0

maybe, but thats not really the point anymore. The posting of this thread was enough for CD Wow to justify withdrawing the offer completely, and while they can't prove that you posted the thread in the first place, there was enough coverage on these forums to make them sit up and take notice.
A lot of people have applied fairly and missed out because of this link. Likewise a lot of blaggers have got a freebie they weren't entitled to.

Thats why we should complain to the ASA as its is misleading advertising?0

what will complaining get us, you have to agree heyho that due to some people being greedy it has effected it for all. had it not been put on this site and others like it, then i am sure timeout would honour all those who applied.0
