[/QUOTE]I know this isn't very sympathetic, but that is the funniest thing I've heard in ages. It more than made up for my lack of valentines this morning!

I stood for five minutes yesterday in Tesco debating the 6g bay leaves at 84p over 10g at 86p. I thought "stuff it, we'll use it eventually" and bought the bigger packet, only to realise when I got home I was so obsessed with the price labels I'd not noticed the label on the 86p pack said in big letters BASIL. So I've had to go out today and get a pack of bay leaves too (at the local shop, 95p)
Not exactly the biggest overspend of my life, but definitely the worst bit of moneysaving I've done in a while (still, the white chocolate and cardamom mousse will be much nicer with bayleaf smell than basil :silenced: )
OH better appreciate his posh tea tonight :kisses2: (I REALLY wanted to use one of those today!)Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 002 :rotfl:0 -
