Have never braved Aldi as the only one near me looks grotty. At lidl love the balsamic, ggod as any of the really expensive brands, fruit and veg a bit hit and miss, tinned butter beans half the price of Tesco/ Sainsbury and way nicer (not mushy). Poor for cleaning products, espacially mould remover. Used this in shower and made not one bit of difference (, resorted to mixture of bicarb, salt and bleach which worked wonders) Black forest and parma also fab!0

I make a point of stocking up on parmesan when I am at aldis as it is very good and half the price of other places. The half-fat philly type cheese always goes in my trolley too. And we are big fans of the 85p frozen veg lasagne which is handy to keep in the freezer for those days when you can't be bothered cooking. Olive oil, tikka masala sauce, fresh gorgonzola and walnut pasta all get the thumbs up.
Not so good on cheddar I've found - bit chalky. Peanut butter is a bit too sweet, will stick to sunpat in future.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
I love the cartons of orange juice from Aldi, also the Baron St. Jean wine, I find it really fruity and not to sweet or dry.0

Lidl muesli (in the blue pack) is better than anything I have ever tasted. For anyone who runs/cycles the sports gear from them and aldi (not shoes) can't be beaten on cost or quality.0

Just a quick recomendation of Chria Yeast Extract, for all you Marmite lovers out there. It can be picked up at Lidl for £1.54, Marmite at lidls is £1.94.
Whilst I'm not really bothered about the price, I will eat Marmite for ever more, If your bothered about the 40 pence, its as good as the original.0 -
