Last year I bought a greenhouse from Lidl (known as a tomatoe house). It was quite large, cost around £49. I was just wondering if anyone knew the name of the manufacturers so that I could order the plastic sheeting which covers it - it looks like a large polytunnel.
Thanks very much.

BPI are the UK's largest polythene manufacturer - there is a link on this site to their distributors

Thai green curry ( http://www.lidl.co.uk/uk/home.nsf/pages/c.o.pc.p.Thai_Ready_Meals_with_Jasmine_Rice ) is delicious - loads of chicken, lovely flavour and good rice.
Also good is the Chicken Jalfrezi. I've yet to try any of the other Indian/Thai/Chinese meals, but they are all made by Noon who also produce meals for M&S, Sainsbury's and Waitrose.0 -

I also like it but can't eat a lot of it as it's very rich and stodgy. I can never believe just how much cheese is smothered on top of it! At 1kg you can feed a lot of mouths for £1.49.0 -
I recently tried the Sirius cranberry Müsli bars, 8 for 99p from Lidl. These are really nice and for those doing WeightWatchers points are only 1.5 points each.
Lidl seem to have changed their low fat soft cheese, Pic-Frisch, to something else which is vile - sour and flavourless. However they do another low fat soft cheese which is slightly more expensive which I have yet to try.0 -
Thanks to the advice on here - was very sceptical about trying out our Lidl as it used to be horrible when I braved it about 4 years ago. I was so surprised, the vegetables are all fine, muesli is great, and the checkouts are so speedy! And bill of £22 for a weeks shopping was fabulous!0

I'd recommend any Lidl chocolate bars - particularly fond of the coffee/cream one. Better quality than Cadburys etc and a fraction of the price.
The passata is also a good buy, we buy half a dozen at a time and it makes a cheap, quick and easy base for pizza or pasta sauces, good to add to curries or chillies too.0 -

Lidl nut chocolate in the blue packet :j probably the best chocolate you'll get in the UK. Problem is it only comes in a giant pack and it's so nice it's very hard to stop eating it :eek:0 -
The Milbona fruit yoghurts (27p) at Lidl are superior to Muller's equivalents, a lot cheaper and the containers are 25 per cent larger (250ml).
They are packed with fruit, very tasty but, unfortunately, only come in four flavours.
I make a special visit weekly to buy our supplies and also get some for a friend whose equally fond of them.
Also delicious are the Mr Choc caramel bars at about £1.30 for eight there's also a peanut version..:-)0 -
Tiff, the last time I bought Lidl passata it cost me 29p for a 500g carton. This was about 2 weeks ago.0
