  • Just a word of warning, I have noticed on my last visit to LIDL in Edgware Road that when I get home I find that they have charged me more for items than it was advertised as on the shelf. As I buy loads of stuff it is difficult to keep an eye on this, but am so peed off that in future I will simply buy less. Any ideas on how to prevent this as it is impossible to know if they rip you off when you buy more than three items.

  • Please could someone tell me if there is a bigger store in the North London area that is easier to get to by public transport as I do not have a car. Thanx in advance.

I went shopping at LIDL in Edgeware Road, North London again today and found that once again they are trying to rip me off. Last time I was overcharged for items and this time they tried it again. I only bought four items this time and made a note of how much each item cost, and added it up on my phone. Once again when I got to the till I was overcharged for two items.

When I told the checkout guy to check the price he asked another assistant to check who came back and said that I was right, the checkout assistant then said sorry but that's the right price at the till not on the shelf, and that there is nothing he can do about it.

I phoned LIDL headoffice when I got home, after obviously not purchasing these items, and explained my problem to them. The apologised, in that patronising "SORRY TO HEAR" way and told me to write to them and then they can investigate the matter. I will no longer be shopping there, and just wanted other people to be made aware of this practice in this store and their slack attitude to it.

Hi, does anyone know why the supply of this product ebbs and flows so much?

Being a diabetic it's one of the few fruit drinks I can enjoy

Does anybody know of any similar product that any other shops sell?

    Many thanks,

    Tony.

Believe it or not, It is a con which is adored by a lot of supermarkets. I had this twice at Sainsbury . The second time I simply returned all my shopping to them & asked for a full refund. I never went there again till today.
