but surely 0844 isn't a standard number, so although it maybe charged the same as a standard call, it doesn't mean it will treated as a standard call when it comes to inclusive minutes

Yes you are right that its isnt a standard number.

But when we talk about Orange PayG, O2 Pay Monthly and O2 PayG they dont charge for it if you have inclusive/bundle minutes.

Orange also offers free orange to orange and landline calls for evening and weekend (600 minutes ) if you topup by £10 each month. Can anyone tell me if 0844 number is included in this or not.

As long as you got landline minutes in PAYG,it is included, so if there is some package like that then you can use it... :beer:

the only one I can find is if you top up by £10 you get 300 sms for free. Do you have a url to it, cause I know couple of ppl this will be useful for. Esp if you still keep the £10 credit like you do on o2.
