It's obviously up to you of course but if you send things to HQ, there isn't anyone there who is able to action any contents of your letter..........like I say, someone sent me something at HQ address and it took 4 months to get to me.

You don't get it, do you?

If a letter is sent to a company's registered office then it makes no difference how long they take to action it - that's up to the company. If the sender needs to prove at a later date the legal document was delivered to the company, then a receipt showing delivery to the registered office is all that is needed in law.

If they take 4 months to deal with correspondence, you'd better hope they dont get a legal demand for payment and ignore it for 4 months - they could end up being wound up!

And if you are posting on behalf of Voda, then you ought to declare your interest, as well as get permission off MSE. As you are posting incorrect advice regarding the registered office, maybe you should get permission off your employer as well!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker Mortgage-free Glee!
I haven't but I will post asking for it.

Not too worried if the 14 days dept dont get my letter till outside the 14 days as VF still will receive the letter well within it -- and I will send it recorded, so for legal purposes that covers me. And anyway my partner has emailed them several times to cancel the contract and they've acknowledged his email so they can't claim not to know we want to cancel!

The 14 days dept said that if I've rejected the phone at the doorstep then that order will be cancelled. I'm only sending the letter to double cover my back. Thanks again for yr help.

Ah I must have missed reading the bit saying he'd e-mailed and had an acknowledgement - in which case you are ok anyway.
Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j
  • Once you've rejected the phone from courier, wait a few days for it to come back to warehouse and then call us up and we can put you through to returns dept so they can cancel everything off for you.
