I ordered 3 pairs of Karrimor shoes for my son who's 3. They arrived today and we're very happy with them. I dare say the quality may not be up to adult standards, but for an infant they're fine.
He's spent the afternoon walking around in a pair of boots 2 sizes too big for him.
Oh yes, I also got a free mug. It's stickered at £4.99 and is huge!0

Hello I am new to postings but the offer below is fantastic
We went to Shirebrook derbyshire today and bought 2 pairs of these boots. They had plenty of choice in sizes.
They also have a massive section where everything is £4 or under. This is Sportsworld headquaters and to give you an idea of the size of the place ... it is like an airport ... 50 artic loading bays and more sports gear than you can shake a stick at.
You can view their products on the internet but at the factory site the prices are even lower and i mean much lower.......

Sports Direct are doing Karrimor Aspen II Weathertite walking boots in-store and on-line for £26.99 (RRP £89.99). This is an amazing deal considering these boots have quality Vibram soles. They fit like socks - really comfy !!

They are doing other Karrimor boots even cheaper but don't buy those as the soles are rubbish (no rigidity). Pay a few pounds more and get the Vibram soles used on other considerably more expensive boots.
My girlfriend and I bought a pair each as we are both keen trekkers. I'll be wearing them up the Pyrenees this summer !!

Sports Direct has confirmed these offers are available in store as well as online. Online you'll have to pay delivery of £3.95 but it has also given permission to use the code MT10 to get 10% off.

I have to agree about the quality of Karrimor. My OH has got through 2 pairs in only a few months with only moderate use. He's now invested in some North Face shoes which are a much higher quality! It's true, Karrimor used to be a trusted British brand but are now much shoddier and lower quality!
 Hope this helps someone!

Karrimor went bust a few years ago and the brand was bought by several different suppliers. Whereas it used to be an excellent brand with a guarantee worth paying for it is now a bit hit and miss.
My old Karrimor rucksacks (12 years old) are still going strong and my approach shoes are still great after five years. But I would be really wary about their shoes now. Friends have been very disappointed with them and they look a bit shoddy. I bought a Karrimor flask for my bloke this Christmas and the bottom keeps falling off. Not ideal.
For anyone who does a lot of walking it would probably be wiser to get something better quality that will last for a few years, even if it costs a few quid more.
I agree - I also owned an 'original' Karrimor rucksack and boots (both excellent) but bought some shoes after the brand name was bought by someone else and the quality was awful!
Karrimor of today is a completely different product to Karrimor of old - the only thing which hasn't changed is the name. Sorry, but no way the £90 RRP on these is realistic!"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."

I bought a Karrimor rucsac in 1985 and it's still going strong. I also had a Karrimor day pack which lasted for many years. I bought a Karrimor Spectre II from Sports Direct last year and it lasted about a month! They replaced it but the replacement was just as bad. I was taken in by the previous reputation of Karrimor and the fake "reduced" prices in the store. I naively thought they actually were selling them off cheap!
 I certainly won't buy another Karrimor product!0

I recently went to a new balance outlet and bought a pair of walking shoes for £25 half price. They were a total bargain and mega comfy. Would highly recommend them.0

It's your choice, however I think that a 3 year old would be better wearing proper fitted shoes - that's what my mother did and I have done for my kids.0
