Looked in Savers, and also Pounland (which I was told were getting them in), but no luck. Poundland did have TT, but they were latex.
Actually bought some Boots own airflow flat ones in desperation, which he sucked for a bit, but as soon as he got tired it was thrown across the room. He also put the whole dummy in his mouth! Wouldn't want to leave him at night with one of those, even if he would take to it!
All I can say is that the 4 TT ones that DD got off Ebay had better last for a while!

I saw them on Friday in Sainsbury's and thought of you! They're the 'Basics' ones and they actually call them 'cherry' shaped

  • inneed - have you tried Tescos own brand?

I have some newborn silicone soothers that someone gave me...they are not quite a cherry but they are not the shaped flat ones that some are...

Maybe they do a cherry one too?

Thanks for looking Peachprice, unfortunately the Sainsburys ones have a round end, which goes straight in the rather large mouth! He has to have oval ones.
Tescos own isn't one I've looked at, so it's down to yet another shop for me.
So grateful for everyone suggesting things, and keeping an eye up.
Good luck with Babybug, My Fathers Daughter - keep us posted.

  • Oh my god... what a nightmare. Since Tommee Tippee have discontinued these popular soft rim closer to nature soothers people are ebaying them for ridiculous amounts of money and you CANNOT GET THEM ANYWHERE ON THE INTERNET ive Tried WORLDWIDE with no success. My baby will only accept these dummies and no others. Even the TTippee replacent/new shape. As any parent whos baby has these old style dummies will know there IS A DIFFERENCE and babies will reject any other shape type dummy TOTALLY. So its not just a case of a fussy baby or a spoilt baby, its a HUGE COMFORTER and HUGE SUPPORT that they rely on since we happened to choose this dummy... so thats for nothing Tommee tippee... Shame on you for doing this to so many babies and parents. DISGUSTED with them and I will never buy their products again. Anyone having any luck of getting these dummies apart from rip offs on ebay let us all know. cheers.

I'm sorry that I can't help - but it seems that you are having real trouble finding these dummies. maybe this would be a good opportunity to try and wean him off them once his old ones are ready for the bin?

I will keep my eyes open for you when I'm shopping.

Thanks Rocketdog, much appreciated. Dgs is still quite sickly and difficult, so weaning him off doesn't seem fair quite yet. Think the rip-off Ebay ones will be it again!
