Does anyone know of where I can get cherry shaped dummies for my grandson? He wont take to the new, flatter shape, and the only cherry ones I can find are latex, which, due to his allergies, I daren't even try. I have contacted Boots and Tommy Tippee, but they don't have any, and his old ones are really manky now!

my son was the same would only take the cherry shaped one - boots used to do them in packs of three(think they were tommy tippee ones) had them in yellow, blue and pink. Also Asda did them. i ended up at one point with transparent dummies as they were the only ones i could get in the cherry shape, which was funny as you could see into my sons mouth whilst he was sucking away.0

Asda certainly had the tommee tippee ones, as well as their own brand a few months ago - but having re read your post, I'm not sure they were silicon...?
There are some for sale on tommee tippee website:

Thanks everyone - being a senile old granny I forgot to say that we had actually tried these dimply ones with the round end, but he has trouble with them. I am looking for the older, smooth type with the oval end. I know he sounds like a right spoilt little so and so, but he had major problems from birth, and is quite difficult. - Grandkids - who'd have them?????
p.s. Mazcabs our Dexter is two weeks younger than Henry.Always look on the bright side of life ....la la la la la la la la0 -
inneed,
I know what you mean, tried the round ones with Henry and he wont take them so I presume you mean these ones

If you look on ebay there are some at the moment but be prepared they can go quite expensive.... I have to admit that I paid £8 each dummy for one pack but hey its my baby so whatever keeps him happy!Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Thanks Mazcabs, I can't make out if they are cherry ones or the new shape, but will pass the thread on to my daughter (nasty experience with fraud connected to Ebay, so no longer have account), she can email seller. - And totally agree, if it keeps him happy.........Always look on the bright side of life ....la la la la la la la la0

The ones I sent to you are the old shape ones. If she searches through there are some more for sale on there but tell her to keep an eye out for the buy it now ones as they can work out cheaper sometimes rather than bidding on them. I just put in Tommee tippee dummies and it brings up all the ones they did.
PS dont forget if she has a nectar card buy them through the nectar club website and get points for them as well!
Also dont worry about the ages on them as they are all the same except some have pictues on them, sometimes the 0-6 months ones are cheaper then the 6-18 month ones. Glad to help.Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
My two didn't like the "flat" dummies at all so it was cherry dummies all the way, although not a problem for us because we used the latex ones, but I also used the Mam Air dummies successfully. Link. They are flatter than the cherry dummies, but have a larger "bump" than the properly flat dummies.
JxxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -
Thanks again folks. Who would think buying a couple of dummies would be such a palava??
The ones on Ebay are up to £24 - so obviously there must be a lot of babies out there who don't like the new shape. Dd is keeping her eye up on Ebay. In the meantime I will try some of the Mam Air ones that Janepig mentions, and keep my fingers crossed!
Are there any enterprising peeps who can fill the gap in the market???Always look on the bright side of life ....la la la la la la la la0 -
