My youngest who was over the moon with getting a 22k job last week, has just telephoned stating his live in girlfriend is losing her 25k job in the latest cuts caused by the recession.
Sorry to hear that Adey, does the increase in his salary help compensate for the loss in hers? but congrats for him.
Nothing like as important as your loved ones' troubles, but just read the latest house price figures from LandRegistry and Harrow suffered the worst fall in house prices in London for January - 3.9% !! (£10k on paper pour moi). I reckon people just got fed up of their houses being on the market for eons and said "right - new year, let's sort it" and took a lower offer.

As a reward for loyalty I have just gone over the first 30 pages of our old thread and given Harrowing oql61 and suesie 999 a thanks for all their posts I'd missed, over 30 each, but have just realised they're not showing in their thanks quote. Why? Is it because the thread is closed? In memory of Chris Hyde #8670

Let's hope she can get another job but things are obviously getting more and more competitve. In memory of Chris Hyde #8670 -
Job market isn't pretty at all, but good luck to her.
yes, rumours here of changes to work an extra day a week (pressure on for new software delivery) or take a pay cut. Doesn't sound legal, but no expert. Gonna research joining a union at weekend (we don't have one, so would have to be a general one for it/professionals).
I am knuckling down, honest.....just a quick iva typer during software compilations.0 -

Doh! IT king forgot to press the refresh button
I shall do the other 470 pages some other day.
I wander what happened to Harrowing nice sort, much more pleasant that Double Entendre but no where near as good as Alfresco. It would be a nightmare if all three turned up at the reunionIn memory of Chris Hyde #8670 -

Plus I'm thanking the remainder of the crew, Mel and Hannah were shrinking violets early doors. In memory of Chris Hyde #8670 -
I think you need a Refresher course
Double Entendre has been shipped off to a S*x addiction clinic. Harrowing was locked up in a cellar by a chap called ST for daring to suggest Chris Langham shouldn't have been imprisoned..0
