A lady's logic?
Our email was playing up Wednesday, I thought it might be one of those intermittent issues so left it. On Thursday Viola reports it still isn't working so I cleverly do an advanced (date-search) google to see if anyone else is having problems with Sky Mail. Successly find the "mail server settings" solution, so fix it Thursday evening.
Viola's (serious) response: so why didn't you fix it on Wednesday??!! :rotfl: :rotfl: Didn't I tell you truth can be funnier than fiction?0 -
Aye Suesie, looks fun!
By the way, I tried to clean out our hoover and couldn't even figure out how to reassemble it - had problems knowing what to do with the O-ring;)0 -

Seemingly Nelson had the same problem. He reported back to the King that he'd defeated the French. The King retorted "but why didn't you do it on Wednesday!"0 -
I had to perform a couple unpleasant domestic duties yesterday (No Alf, not as unpleasant as those duties!) Scrub the kitchen and utility floor tiles likewise family and en suite bathroom. Put the chairs upside down, over hanging on the kitchen table. Must have caught one as I was beneath it on hands and knees it came crashing onto my bonce didn't half hurt! Air was blue for several minutes. In memory of Chris Hyde #8670

:rotfl: (sorry) Did you see stars? The worst accidents happen in the home. It occurs to me that the kitchen is a deadly area, especially if you have kids. All you need is to not spot a play ball under your feet and you could go flying with a hot casserole or gawd knows!  Touch wood we take care...0 -
Viola got a blooded nose from a 2 year old Shannen at a pub lunch when Shannen picked up a large pepper dispenser and hurled it towards her face!
Had to ask for ice pack at bar!0 -
Second clean the oven........never again. It was a fancy cleaning kit. A bottle of thick gooey stuff, a very large plastic bag to put the tray things in, and a pair of surgical gloves. Read instructions, shook bottle vigorously, put shelves into plastic bag, poured half goo in t'oven the other half into plastic bag. Did not put on plastic gloves too whoosy I thought. Smeared goo all over t'oven, liberally coating my hands and forearms. Shook bag which split, firing goo all over my tracky bottoms and T shirt which on impact immediately turned white. At the same time my arms began to burn like hell, had to dowse them in cold running water.
So the oven ended up barely much cleaner than before.
Clothes were completely ruined.
Arms look like someone's attacked me with an angle grinder.
And my hands are now as wrinkled as a Klingon's forehead.
As I said never againIn memory of Chris Hyde #8670 -
