    Hi SA.

Well done for slogging through the hours to pay your car back. Respect for that. It is so easy to give in and go "woe is me" in those situations.

I hadn't thought of joining a rambler's club. I do like walking. It's free (apart from a ham roll, some crisps and a drink), it's good excercise and it takes you out to a place where a £60,000 bill is just so irrelevant. It is just about putting one foot in front of another, feeling the burn in your bum cheeks and the cleansing of your system while surrounded by this lovely country.

Summer Skylarks across Wiltshire is my favourite. But cow pats across Devon or stupid steep slopes up the Lakes still do for me.

Neither of us have someone to egg us on and share it with any more, which makes it harder to do.

Do you think that the ramblers will all be.., well, ...OLD! If you know what I mean. There's 50 going on 30 and then there's 50 going on 70. Could be the rambler's club is like getting on the coach trip to the seaside that got put in the local paper by the bus company - £5 ticket.

    Let me know.

Take care SA. And keep up the good work.

    Jim

    Thanks ym and lensman.....

Well Jim, I have to say that I often come across ramblers "rambling" on my journeys to and from work, one of the benefits of working in the countryside, and they seem to be across a wide age range. I am not sure what they might think of me, do they do pink walking boots? I don't know about hamroll and crisps, top of my list will be the lipgloss to stop the lips getting chapped, and of course you never know who you might ramble across!!!!
    Should be fun,
    Have a good day everyone....
