Soappie the heating saga reminds me of BIL (Mr AnW's sis ;) ) he lost his job before SW1 was born hence sis was the only wage earner for a while. To keep costs to a minimum while he was out of work they agreed to keep heating and elec use to an absolute minimum and wear more layers if they felt cold. Caught BIL out one day, the house was roasting hot so I said sis will not be impressed to which he replied 'oh it's ok I'll open all the windows to let the heat out before she get's home' :rotfl: Fortunately he got a job a couple of weeks later!

I know I need to get tough but (and this will probably absolutely floor and totally amuse Rach who is used to seeing me being tough and -um- uncompromising in certain community situations :rotfl:). I'm - I was going to type scared - and then thought no that's the wrong word - but on reflection, it may be. But, what I'm scared of, I'm not sure - I think it's probably scared of confrontation and unease in my own home.

Actually I totally understand. I too am good at (and known for) being, what's the word....difficult hard talking in meetings etc but it's a different kettle of fish with family, and I can totally understand you don't want a bad atmosphere.

I've decided after doing so well at my 7 extras list today I'm going to make another list of 7 more.... *puts thinking cap on*

Hope you feel better soon... you've made me realise that's pretty much how I'm feeling, so I think I need to sort my list out (having done nothing so far this week...) and then go to bed as I've got a busy day tomorrow...

... still, it shouldn't take long... I'm still in my PJs from last night :o

GnB - well thank you for suggesting it!! I'm glad your dd is ok xx

Well, i'll admit it...i've been overdoing it. Lady liberty read this!!! I really do need to try and do a bit less. My scar is really hurting today after aching for the last few days. I think the course at the weekend set me off as it was very physical. I'm going to have a bath and go to bed. Luckily the course next weekend is not so physical. Lady liberty...i'll admit it (once and once only) just because you get to 10 weeks post op you still have to be careful!!!

And i'll s/s the bathroom whilst the water is running to make this post valid!! :D

    Night all xx

Oh and I forgot to tell you all.... I finally found Stardrops!!!

Asda did have it - on Rollback at 40p - so there was never any in stock but I finally caught it in stock, so bought 4 bottles!! I am loving it!!!! my house looks fab! Am addicted to how sparkly everything is!!:j :j :j

Just a note on Stardrops - I was in our local poundland this morning and they had it, Stardrops, Satrclen (but now called stardrops with amonia) Starpine (but now called stardrops with pine) and also stardrops cream cleanser.

They were all in 750 ml bottles (except the Cream C) and were obviously £1 each - which will be cheaper than Asda etc when they put the price back up to normal as they sell 500ml bottles.

So that may help some of you if you have problems getting hold of it.
