throw out 100 things from the house![/STRIKE] Didnt have 100 things to declutter, but sent a few bags to freecycle and friend with a son

Jo - try googling your washing machine model to see if it has cleanable filters? If mine does I have never found them. What I can do is set it to drain firs, and then open a little door at the bottom (which lets dirty water out so use a bowl) and check if anything is stuck in there.

Serena - mean boys dont want to go outside yet and they aren't big enough to leave on their own. DH is in bed because his back is really bad, not seen him this bad since he had his last operation 4 years ago which is rather worrying. I have some jiffy 7's soaking ready to start some planting - chillis, peppers, aubergine and toms. Just been through all my alan romans stuff to write planting dates on so just quietly enjoying myself.

Morning all

I feel so good today after a proper night's sleep in my own bed. Woke pretty early but with one thing and another I've only been up and dressed for half an hour. I've stripped the bed including the mattress protector and the first half is in the WM. Have also S&S the kitchen and bathroom and rejigged the mealplan for this week. Need a few bits from the supermarket when we go out for lunch but seem to have tons of food in at the moment - should be a cheap month!! Plan to do the rest of the flying this aft as DH has a mate over to watch the football.

greenbee - i think your reply idea is good, keep it flippant I reckon!

soappie - thanks for the recipe, I'll def use that as it's all stuff we'd generally have in.

I forgot to tell you the other day that the insurers of the people who bashed my car last year (long story, was going to have to go to court!) have finally agreed to pay up so we are looking forward to a cheque for £120 to reimburse what we paid last year for the excess. DH says we can use it to splash out a bit as we'd not expected it!

First load of washing on line, second lot in the machine. Governor who needs to drop of paperwork called and reminded, so hopefully I'll get it today or tomorrow... I'm going to read for a bit, then go and tackle the stuff that needs putting away upstairs.

I already spent some of it on fun bits for my godsons yesterday and a few bottles of nice wine for our girls night but I think we'll buy some champagne and a meal out, it won't go that far and we're not generally short of cash but we're saving hard for a house deposit so we live well within our means!

I've got the cushion covers from the living room washed and on the line and another washing machine load on the go. The dog and I are going out soon with the camera to take pics for the book. We'll do a bit of graveyard tramping too!

I have 2 sleepy people on my couch, LO has a lovely dose of diarrhoea:eek: She pooed all over her bed last night, bless her. Sheets are in the wash, hubby dealt with her though and they are both zonked on the couch.

Going to write a meal plan then go shopping.
