    Morning all :hello:

Hair is washed (and I'm looking very grey today :o Blooming ash blonde hair ), both beds are stripped and remade with clean bedding :D And I've already had breakfast! :D Plan of action for today, once I've had a bath, is :

    Studying:

      • Unit 5 - Knowledge x 13 Statements pending assessment next week.
      • Unit 9 - Knowledge x 10 / Statements 9.1.1, 9.2
      • Anything I can't get statements for I need to make a list of so I can go in, do the thing and then get a statement for it ;) That way I should cover all the performance criteria before Thursdays final assessment :D Don't you love the team/family spirit in schools when everyone gets on :D:j:j

    • Pick DD up from the station about 5pm
    • Bath DD & school stuff ready.
Apart from the laundry & getting DD, my priority is my studying again. I have 10 mins left before I go and sort my bath so I think I'll have some fruit or something and a mooch at my OU work...see if I can get my head around this question better this morning.

ok - hoovered living room which my 7 year old son did the other day :D So I didnt hurt his feelings, i told him it was my turn to hoover and his turn to polish - so he has polished the sides and the top of the TV!

Hoovered upstairs hall, my room, DS room (which is a box room) and as far into the spare room as the clutter would allow me to go - must buy a new clothes rail so I can sort out spare room!

Emptied WM and reloaded. Have set up ironing board - I will do ironing today! I was supposed to do HHI every day and one managed it once

I also cleaned down towel rail in the bathroom.

Back to the kitchen now....... xx

toots - I have now completed the missing two days, and I want flashing hearts please!
    Thursday Done!:D:D:D
    Friday Done!:D:D:D

DD and I went to visit Mum yesterday afternoon - she was looking okay, but not chatty - she only spoke to DD. She tends to make gestures only, and rely on us all guessing what she wants - I think it's an effort to talk. we were both really tired for some reason by the time we got back.

hex - I saw your light still on - out in that garden! I should be out there too - I did manage to grab half an hour yesteray, and cleared out the little greenhouse, moved the spring onions out of the propagator, and sowed some round carrots.

:bdaycake:Happy Birthday to kaz and rosepink, and Happy Anniversary to LL and restaholic:bdaycake:

Need to go do something...anything really, I'm wasting time here!!

    Morning all

I didn't manage to get on here at all yesterday so I don't know what's going on. I did two loads of washing which nearly dried and they finished off on the radiators during the evening and all put away now. I went to a garden centre with DD1 and we had lunch and a potter, then last night we went over to DD2's and had a takeaway. I can't remember the last time I didn't have to cook at all for a whole day. Bliss!

But back to normal now......one load of washing on the line. I've dusted the living room and vacuumed right through downstairs. The bacon joint is in the oven and I'll be starting the roast potatoes soon. I did a little bit of painting by the back door when I realised the colour we bought for the back bedroom was almost exactly the same as the kitchen (and it doesn't notice at all where I've done it, except it's clean now).

I'll try and catch up a bit with the thread, but I hope everyone's OK and having a good weekend.

As the sun's shining I'm going to stay at home and get some laundry done, potter around and have a quiet day. Hopefully if I get myself organised the week will be less effort  ... and I still need to sort out my reply to that email :o

She has most of top shop/new look ranges in her wardrobe here. Plus stuff in a wardrobe at her Mum's. She also has about 67 millions pairs of knickers and bras....

ETA - I think if she did one load of washing a day instead of 10 in one day, there wouldn't be such a problem...
WM on and :coffee: in hand.

Well either she is changing her clothes several times a day or I am a very mucky pup:o

    Morning

So far made a chocolate cake, sorted the washing, WM x 2, TD x 1, updated finances, and soaked in the bath.

    Chocolate Brownies for rosepink1984

    100g Butter
75g cooking chocolate (I use Mr T value dark and use the whole 100g slab which I have just realised I havent checked to see it that is actually GF :o )
100g Gluten free flour (or Plain flour)
    3 eggs
    100g chopped walnuts
    200g sugar
    1 teasp of baking powder

    Gently melt butter with chocolate
In separate bowl mix flour baking powder sugar and nuts
beat in eggs (i whisk them separately until foamy first)
followed by the melted butter and chocolate mix.
pour into 6" x 8" oiled and lined tin
    Bake 180C for 20 mins

This recipe makes a classic brownie where it will appear to have a crispy top. To test if cooked a skewer should come out slightly sticky but not.

Cut into slices when cold if you can wait that long
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
