I didn't make it back after saying I'd join the HHC earlier. I remembered that DD needed an appt with nurse, and they could only offer me one in about 25 mins...so I dug DD out of bed, and took her, then straight to hairdresser's as she had booked a haircut. I then came home and collapsed with a coffee, picked her up, had 10 minute lunch, did the weekly shopping, home to unpack it, then off the medical centre again for her second appt....then after a very quick cup of tea ...
I finally cleaned the bathroom!!!:D
DS1 cooked tonight, so the evening was more restful than the day. I'm just disappointed that I didn't manage to enjoy the sunshine.
Hugs to jo, and also to toots - both of you take very good care of yourselves.
sexymouse - mmm, sounds like there may be a happier place to work. The school I'm in, it's not that they're unfriendly, but the breaks are so short that no-one ever has time to do anything at lunch. Most people stay in their room or office. I always sit with the HLTA's or any supply teachers, as they're the only ones in the staffroom! I'll keep wishing you loads of luck, the other two jobs sound promising. I've only got this job because of you and your encouragement!
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
JO what a lovely post you have done there for grateforhelp - thank you for all your lovely words - I have sent a link toyour post just in case she doesnt manage to read the thread!
I would think you could use any kind of chocolate (drool drool!!) but I am no cook or baker!!!
You are doing right by trying to keep busy - you will still have tears thats only naturs; and eho knows you may get together again in the fitire id its meant to be!
I have now vacuumed half the bedroom
have moved the chest of drawrts back to their olf position as it wasny worlkng where it was.
I am now considering moving my blanket box before I finish the rest of the floor - i think i might get better use of it
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Thanks to everyone and the vibes for OH's interview. It seemed to go well, the daft thing is it is where he did his full aprenticeship 36 years ago, so at least he understands the product:rotfl: they have 2 other people to interview so he won't hear anything until later next week.
I haven't been feeling well today so I'm carrying my friday tasks over to tomorrow and hoping to get finished then.
sexymouse - I'm realy sorry you didn't get the job but there should be a better one out there for you if you keep trying.
Hugs to all tonight as there are a few flyladies in need judging by a few of the posts today.0 -
i am struggling this week:o but am still enjoying the thread and feeling motivated - hugs to everyone :grouphug:0

All caught up! Had a lovely day at work today - the children did loads of work this morning and were all fab! After assembly this afternoon, we had great fun playing parachute games outside in the sunshine
Still glad it's Friday though!
pigpen - love the photo
Diva - lovely that you heard from Tristan; more hugs and prayers for you both
Mof5 - well done LO; one of my class used the toilet for the first time in school yesterday and we were all grinning
jo - hugs; it's not easy and I can understand how you feel. Please don't leave us and keep posting when you can. This lot were a great support to me over the summer after bf and I split. PM me if you want to
grateful - welcome (to the madhouse!!) Of course you can join. A lot of us work full time and just do what we can (or play mad catch-up at weekends  ) It gets easier as the weeks go on as things take less time cos they're less dirty, IYSWIM
sexymouse - sorry you didn't get the job, but sounds like it wasn't a great place anyway.
Right, time for QI and a bit of table tidying!!"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Don't try to keep up with the old hands... they've got less of a battle on their hands than those who are just starting out.
And be reassured that you've ALL done more than me this week... I'm just about managing to make sure that the stuff I use in the kitchen makes it to the DW or utility room sink, and S&S the shower after I use it. Otherwise NOTHING is getting done!
I'm working tonight to catch up on what I missed while feeling grotty... and I've just had a very strange email from a colleague...0 -
