no leaflet for me either
, however as it appears they are perpetuating a lie rather than just fessing up to a mistake then that's reason enough for me to ditch.

Their customer service is appaling and they are just another company that has come in promising the world with their customer grabbing offers but forgetting the exisitng ones...I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I get the same with my morethan card - every time I get paid I pay the balance off in full I'm paid every 4 weeks so I clear the balance more than once a month but still get charged interest sometimes?
I didn't for the forst 2 years but have twice in the last 4 months?

Well I have never had any problems with Egg. A great loan rate with flexibility which I have just paid off. A have a 15k limit on my green Egg (they keep rolling the yearly anniversary) and a 10% cashback at Currys on my 15k Egg Money (ive just kitted out the house!
Everytime I have had to adjust / request anything I always get to speak to a helpful advisor.
I must say that Egg are far far far better than Barclaycard, Marbles, Tesco, Natwest, RBS, MBNA, HSBC, and CO-OP.
I held up until recently most of the above cards.
I spoke to Egg about the OPs post and they said they have never heard of that before and was probably a mistake.
I think the only org that has come close is Amex platinum.
I had to write something, Egg are quite good.0 -

Yes - have to add that I have never had problems with them, Having read the other posts in this thread it occured to me there must be a mistake somewhere... what was being stated seemed on the verge of illegal to me...0 -
Well the same thing has happened to me. Payment in full made and showing on statement well before statement date. Fortunately only to the tune of £1.39. Unbelievable! Now I've always been a great fan of egg too, but I doubt for much longer! My egg money seems ok though. No. I've not seen a leaflet either. Will ring up this morning for the latest tale and post on here....if it's not crystal clear will be reluctantly closing the card too...0

If it was a mistake then fair enough, but to then start telling lies about "sending leaflets about it out" is well out of order.
I don't have an Egg card and on this showing i'm glad i don't!

Cant understand the problems with Egg-just had the most charming young lady on the phone-could have spoken to her for hours.
Played the daft laddie(comes naturally) and asked how I could pay off the balance on my Egg card. She knew I paid the minimum each month but advised that I could make interim payments at any time. These payments must be in your account five working days before minimum payment is due. If you are making interim payments by bt then a further five working days are needed.
Could this be the problem?
However must admit I have not received a leaflet0
