Another lovely day in Cumbria, would you credit it.

Feeling really stiff this morning as I'm changing some of my rheumy meds around. Hopefully it will work for the better in the long run though.

Itching to get out in the garden and potter, but need to go shopping. We have decided to go to Aldi in Cockermouth rather than all the way to Carlisle, so that's a bonus :j as I love Aldi chocolate (I'm such a chocolate snob it's scary).

Have paid £100 off evil  card today, in addition to my £2 PAD, also had 3 flapping fishes-bottom right 1 flapping fish. Yesterday ordered some free seeds off Blue Peter site (via MSE freebies thread) to encourage bees to the garden, so looking forward to that. There's also R-Points money going into my bank account at some point. It's only £10 something but it all helps. Music Magpie cheque may arrive at some point too-they're soooo slow :p

OMG today I got...three fish lol :rotfl: Hey 10p is cool plus most fridays you get 50p bonus so I'm happy as its free money. Well done on the £1. I had that once and as I mentioned before OH has won £100 on the scratchie so keep going.

Our money saving has gone a bit to pot this week, something to do with the nice weather . We are treating ourselves to two days away this weekend-I feel like I'm at confessional-so I'm going into the overdraft for it. DD2 is looking after the dogs and Cydney da kitty. Can't afford it really so I plead guilty as charged. The hotel is doing a special offer of 4 course meal for £1 on sunday evening, which means I don't feel quite so bad :o

Off to docs again-will this ever end

i shouldn't complain about the scratchcards, since i've been doing them i've withdrawn £30 and am almost on my way to another £10, better interest than £10 in a savings account at the moment i guess.
Enjoy your weekend away, we're sorting out our wedding album (finally!) and i'm going to a quiz tonight with my mum. Not got much else planned cept tidying and gardening.

Well I've spent the morning in tears. GP says I have raging infection and put me on antibiotics. Trouble is I'm allergic to a lot of anti Bs and he's running out of options. He actually put his head in his hands and said 'you're allergic to every bloody thing'. The weekend is cancelled as I need to be able to get to hospital in case I have an attack. I'm also on dose loads of steroids and piriton to try and ward off any reactions.

OH rang up hotel to see if we could get our money back and they were really off with her. I understand that they may have to charge us for the whole weekend but the manager didn't have to be so rude about it.

Feel blooming miserable as well as ill :(

Have just rung Halifax up about my PPI though. They were really helpful, well they were nice and promised to chase the refund up, which is almost the same thing :rotfl:I have never experienced this side of the evil  card before and it's almost unsettling!

Going back to the settee to mope for a bit. Might be the incentive I need to actually do some OU work

So sorry to hear that you've had to cancel the weekend away. I'm assuming that you would be just too far away from a major hospital to take the risk, and you can certainly do without other people's germs. Hope your lapdog has been giving you plenty of fuss, and that your dog with attitude can make you smile.

    Take care of yourself.

Thanks for those kind words :A

I managed a whole day without problems so thats cool. I'm not scared about any possible reactions, I just want something to work and make me feel better. But, then again, there are so many other people in this life who are in a worst position than me so I shouldn't complain.

Lucy and Edie both snuggled up with me on the sofa earlier. Lucy is so sensitive to my health. Last year I had gallbladder problems and she always knew when I was in pain and cried to come up on my lap bless her.

We absolutely blew the budget and bought chinese tonight to 'drown' our sorrows :o Hey ho.

we're going to my mums community room as she's doing a breakfast there and as she's got me some beef sausages it would be rude to not go. we're also finally sorting out our wedding album tonight which will be good.

Aww Lemon Tree when did you get married? DD2 married in December and we still haven't sorted out the photos-I have them all waiting for frames and books.

Will definately be rude not to partake of yummy sausages lol. Bless our mums. Have a lovely day hun.

Feeling more positive this morning and the sun has just come out. Another flapping fish day with bottom right fish :D and I'm thinking that I want this CC debt on evil  card sorted NOW! Will see how antibiotics go over weekend and if no problems then I will look at getting some money over to OH card early next week.

Have been looking at David Hockney's Dog Days book, with his two dachys Stanley and Boodge. At the beginning he says: ...they are intelligent, loving, comical and often bored. They watch me work; I notice the warm shapes they make together, their sadness and their delights.' And as I'm typing this Edie is licking Lucy's bottom while she sits on my lap eghhh :rotfl:
