Personally I will look for a lost book for a couple of hours but then I would give up and refund the buyer with abject apologies. Alternatively I will buy the book from another seller at a better condition and have it drop shipped, even if this costs me money. I would not wait longer than 24 hours before issuing a full refund osisbly even less, buyers are often OK with a cnacelled sale in an hour or so but take exception to expecting their book for a day or two and only then getting a refund.
You cna only have a few refunds before you get a suspension warning, the figures being bandied about vary from between 2-5% of actual sales, so for a smalls elelr a single refund 'might' be a problem, but then Amazon can use different rule son different people so there is no way of knowing whether you are safe or not.
It's a horrible feeling though not finding a book, the last one I lost never did turn up..yet I had clearly recorded where it should be and it just wasn't there.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I can't get in to View your current inventory.
The message I get says:-
We're sorry! Your session has expired or you have not yet signed in.
Return to your Seller Account. For security reasons, your session will time out after 30 minutes of inactivity.
I eMailed Amazon, but got no reply. Am I likely to do better with telephone HELP?
Or does anyone on here know the answer.
I see that dawn 1 and penny-less had the same problem on 26 May.0 -
