Right click on the printer and select Properties. You should see print test page at the bottom of the page.0

Right i have done this a message comes up saying test page failed to print would u like to view the print troubleshooter for assistance ? Right it says the printer is out of paper which it isnt
paper is caught in the paper it isnt

Sounds like a communication problem between the printer and the laptop. Do you have another USB port you can plug into on the laptop?0

OK. I'm sorry you are having so many problems
I've checked on the web and they suggest running the cleaner software again, rebooting, instaling the Vista software and THEN connecting up the printer once it has installed.
They say if you connect the printer before installing the Lexmark software then Windows Vista doesn't use it.
Are you willing to give it a go ?
