    OK. So now the Vista version of the printer software is installed and the printer made the ding? Is the printer now visible in Printers?

    Can you print a test page on the printer? Go into it in control panel and select 'print test page'. We need to discover if it's a problem with printing overall or a problem with Microsoft Office.
