Bit of an update, the first wedding is on Sat and as yet we have still agreed to disagree, we where supposed to let them know last week if we where going, we couldn't agree so we still don't know if we are going or not. She is adamant we are going, I am adamant we are not. As I mentioned we have these phone and elecy bills due which don't seem to matter. I am off next week so get a weeks holiday as well this weekend, with being of next week. I have worked all my pay out to a T and have £20 left, now call me a miserable sod, but I'd like to use that £20 to take the kids out for a day, not give to someone who earns 4-5 times more than me at there wedding, and on the grand scheme of things my £20 wouldn't be appreciated anyway where as it means the world to me, god does that sound bad:o
Well done for standing your ground. Pay any bills on time or buy any tickets early so that there just isn't any money left over to pay for anything unnecessary.
You have suddenly reminded me of my Granny who passed away 25 years ago now, aged 80 then I think. She was of the old school where women did not work, maybe took in some washing. My Grandad was a bricklayer who worked seasonally and so Granny had to budget hard for the winter months. She secretly squirrelled away money year on year, until one day she saw a bungalow my Grandad had helped build. They bought one, unheard of for working class Leeds folk! Both her kids went to teacher training college too, she knew education was their ticket out of that life. What a lady, I wish I had known her when I became an adult. :ADeclutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -

It does not sound bad at all. Your family comes first. Hopefully your wife will see that quickly. Take the kids out, you don't have to go anywhere expensive at all. Get up and go before she wants to leave for the wedding then it will be her choice whether she goes or not.
Did you return the outfits to the catalogue company or are they still in the house.0
