New Nintendo DSi release date!

Date has now been announced for the new console 3rd April 2009.

Best price Ive seen £146.80 from HMV.com

If buying I suggest you pre-order quick as the demand for this is going to be huge and I think supply will be scarce for these.

Black and White options only.

Demand may be huge, but I don't think it is worth the upgrade if you already have a DS Lite. The screens are slightly bigger, but they're the same resolution, you lose the GBA slot, so can't use your GBA games (if you still play those) or other expansions such as the vibration pack. I guess it all boils down to whether you'll use the new browser and chat features enough to warrant the upgrade, but I only use my DS for the games so will be sticking with that for the immediate future.

Yeah I cant see the point of upgrading either for the sake of a slightly bigger screen and a camera.

If my DS packs up then yeah, maybe but until then I dont see the point.

You will be able to download games like you can for the Wii as well though.

Yes there is an acekard for the new dsi

dont think you will be able to do that with the dsi as i believe they have made it hackerproof (seemingly) and region locked dsi games
