Do you think the price of the ds lite will go down when the dsi comes out?
I am the same as non_believer.. I've been thinking about buying a ds for a while now but will only really use it for playing games (I have my eye on the lime green!)
I'm not sure whether to go ahead and purchse it now or wait until the dsi comes out incase prices of the ds are reduced
Although not the best games a good price 99.99 at toys r us in green

Think you might have to pay for delivery though.
Nothing back from quidco at the moment but 3% from topcashback.0 -
My sons are quite unimpressed that they wouldn't be able to play their GBA games on there so are quite happy to stick with their DS Lites0

All keeping DS lites here. DS will keep his DS; he upgraded to PSP 3000 before Christmas (95% funded by selling old PSP + accessories
). He's certainly not bothering with the DSi.
I only use it for puzzle games, tetris, prof Layton, brain traing etc. so won't bother either, not for the price hike.0 -
I won't bother with a DSI. Shorter battery life, no GBA slot and a 0.3mpixel camera hardly seems worth it.
I doubt anybody will really find the DSIware useful either, because the sort of people I sell games to don't even realise that games and consoles are separate entities (I want one of those fitness/brain things...what? I need to buy both a game AND a console? What's a console?) or know that you can download games from teh interbutz.
I doubt DS lites will go down in price, either, because supply is so huge. They will likely phase the DS out in favour of DSI though.
Regarding all the R4 talk - I thought this was money saving expert, not thievery expert?0 -

Personally I think you will find many more offers like this coming along.....“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0 -
Just a wuick reminder for anyone who doesn't know, Argos normally take the money upfront, rather than at/during shipping - something that annoys me immensely given that it's a very simple thing to charge at shipping (and is what most well designed ecommerce sites do).0

From the way the voting and the posts are going, most people not impressed by this new one coming out.0

I use deal extreme.
The R4 is a pretty old card but still works.
I use the DSTT card as some games you need to slow them down so that the DS can read the ROM and the TT allows me to do that.
Have most Rom games for US/Europe so will not be changing to new DS0
