Hi Jaytin
definitely the alternative courier for which my reasons are three:-
1. Cheaper
2. In my experience quicker
3. They seem to like delivering the parcels in one piece rather than throwing/kicking/jumping on the boxes:mad:

Generally order stuff for my parents as well so easier to do regular orders.

The other thing on the plus side is Dan`s team at AF pack the orders much better than before on the negative side are Dan`s "dodgy":D video ads. Always worth watching the latest ones as they make me laugh as he is so off the cuff and to the point(heres the product this is the date tastes great buy some!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

As you can tell I like AF:D,

Ahh, I think our wires are a little bit crossed here - I meant for them to process the order ie from me pressing the button to them getting it ready to send.
I think Treboeth, you mean from order to delivery?

Again for me 24hours or 48 at most before the order is ready to be picked up by courier HTH.

Last time I ordered it was less than 24 hours before notice of despatch so I was a little surprised this time round.
I wonder if they are having a few communications problems because I've phoned the office number and it doesn't appear to be working properly.

Has anybody else placed an order over the weekend?

I ordered last Wednesday, my parcels were dispatched on Friday, picked up by the alternative courier and they arrived today. I DID get a dispatch e-mail this time but to be honest it isn't much use, nowhere did it give any idea of when my parcels would arrive, in fact the last entry on it was '06/06/09 status/POD no delivery info available'! Even now it has been delivered that status has not changed lol useless! So I guess that means 5 days from when I ordered until delivery.
Everything very well packed and in perfect condition, not a single item squashed or damaged and everything in stock, well done! :T

Still waiting for my delivery despatched to XDP Express (alternative courier) on Friday, order placed Wednesday lunchtime.

bit baffled as i ordered on Thursday with the DHL service, parcel arrived today by parcelforce

Well i'm confused because I selected national delivery yet have received a despatch email from XPD.....I live in Scotland and I thought we weren't supposed to be able to use the alternative courier here

Well I still haven't even had my order processed. The phone line was working okay when I tried it this afternoon but there was no reply ...

Oooh, to be able to get the cheaper delivery to Scotland ... in our dreams!!!!!
