Approved food general discussion part deux

I got my order from the 13th, everything well packed, no substitutions and a very friendly delivery man from the alternate courier. Luckily he 'phones before he comes out, but I would still have appreciated a dispatch e-mail. My only gripe is that crushable items, nik-naks/wheat crunchies were packed under heavier items and got pretty squashed. I guess they will get more squashed when eaten, but still, a little more care to place them nearer the top might help.

I am finding that the customer service at AF is second to none, really top notch. I have had a couple of queries which were dealt with by return and so they have kept me as a loyal customer

The variety has improved a lot and so I have ordered again and again lately. The packing hasn`t been brilliant but is getting much better and I have no complaints about the turnaround time at all

Just recieved my order from the 11th.

The tins of spaghetti and bags of pretzels are huge!!!!

All present and correct! Thanks approoved foods!

After getting very excited about the prospect of receiving my order today, i tracked it on DHL's website. Unfortunately once it arrived at my local depot it was "held-damaged" then "returned to sender"!! I have emailed to AF to see what happens now and i'll post again when they get back to me.

just had my delivery ....fantastic as i only ordered friday night and its now tuesday... so well done AF you are def back on track with your fantastic service which you allways strived to get back to..

i agree with the packing, i have got biscuits and popcorn under tins and heavy stuff...

i have just scoffed 3 bakin boy cakes:cool: .....lol...and they didnt touch the sides...

so...na..nanana....:p gimpygrumps....:p just watch me turn into a super model....well according to rubens i would be..lol....

Hope you remembered to take them out of their packaging first! Don't know if I done you a favour or not tipping you off about their latest consignment of BB's!

Just had an email back from AF (within 30 mins of me sending them an email) and they are going to get my order re-packed and hopefully sent out before DHL collect this afternoon.

Their customer service has once again been brilliant, how many companies would send out a new order before they receive the damaged one back? And also a virtual immediate response to my email once again.

Thanks AF I am very impressed.

I have just recieved my second order and I have to say I am mightily impressed. I put off ordering again after the first time because it took 3 weeks to arrive and i'm on a tight budget so in effect I lose some of my shopping money until the order arrives.
Am now immersed in bubble wrap and am trying to stop eating the maryland bars.
I ordered 4 cases of the blackcurrant cartons and 12 OJ 1 litre cartons.
Even after paying for the delivery i'm still massively quids in (I used the alternative courier) he phoned me when I wasn't in to check it was ok to leave it which I thought was great!
I've got about ten bits of the make up which all looks really good.
Wasn't overly impressed after my first order but this one has been great and now they are up to date I will definitely be using them more frequently.

seriously though i bought ten boxes as my eldest wants to start making money again by selling stuff in school, so he is going to try and sell them for 20p each, and if they dont sell at that price reduce them to 10p so i think i will make him split his profit with me:p
