Approved food general discussion part deux

My order of the 10th arrived today by the alternative courier. Mostly drinks but I can also report that the rococo chocolate has little bits of nougat through it- and is lovely. I have said to the kids that we could eat one a day- which is admittedly not a lot. Unfortunately I have already eaten two...

We received our order from the 8th today via DHL. We had the dispatch email yesterday afternoon and it arrived this afternoon. We are so made up with the parcel, it was all packaged fantastically with everything present and correct.

Thank you to Dan and the team you are doing a fantastic job. I can't wait to get our next order next week lol!!!! xxx

Just had my order of 13th delivered today, 6 day turnaround :j .

One item out of stock but topped up with other items, anyone wanna buy some "skittles"?

Have now got a plastic box full of treats ie junk for the munchie days .

I can beat that, my order of the 14th came - a mere 5 days turnaround. Looks like the old Approved Food is back. :T
Why did I order those whacking great 2 kilo bottles of soup just for the two of us!!! And as for the 25 servings jar of curry... ...I must be insane!

And as for being insane I ordered 2 of the curries (one for my brother:D ) , some of the lime jelly (did`nt realise it would be one bag thought it might be seperate:o) and ended up with 32 bags of skittles (due to replacements:eek: ) and I live on my own!

order recieved for the 13th so pleased with the turnaround only one sub 3 jars of seafood sauce was replaced by two packs of berry jammy dodgers :rolleyes:

Just worked it out, that box of lime jelly crystals is gonna make a jelly over five litres in size – you're gonna need a bucket on the table, not a dish!:rotfl:

Have been looking at Approved food now for quite a while wondering whether to place an order? I am extremely fussy & up until a couple of months ago (till i found MSE) would never have eaten anything past its date!!
After reading everyone being pleased with the products finally ordered last week & received a delivery today.
I have to say I am VERY impressed, everything came well packaged & no substitutes! Also most things were still in date or only a couple of weeks past:D
Obviously I haven't tried everything yet but the few things I have are great:j
The choc popcorn is lovely as are the bertolli bites (thought they might be a bit stale but lovely & crisp)
The gourmet hot chocolate looks delicious (belgium chocolate melted into milk) & is dated Aug 09
My kids love the skittles so they wont last long!!
I will definitely be placing another order but have a feeling I will be putting on weight with all the goodies in my cupboard:eek:

Not for all of us. I ordered on the 13th and have heard nothing.

Hope I still get the chocolate almonds!

Update 20th March. I just got dispatch email, so should get it on Monday 23rd.

My order of the 13 th was delivered today....not upacked yet though,left at neighbours and is too heavy for me,so am waiting for a large son to come home!!!
