ermmm...ok that's a total contradiction lol Can anyone say what date they would be up to if the orders WERE being done in date order? It's just that sometimes we get deliveries late on here as it is a military base and it's a bit middle-of-nowhere, I was going to go out later but now it looks like I will have to stay in 'just-in-case'.

I've have just made two phone calls to Approved Foods as I have a question (about an existing order) that needs answering today and in my experience emails to them take around a week to be answered:

1) Office and general order enquiries telephone number: 0114 3600061

It rang for 2 minutes then 'cut off' and went to an engaged tone.

2) Warehouse Telephone 01909 488151

It rang for 5 minutes and 55 seconds and then the cut off with an automated message (from the national phone system) "Sorry there is no reply"

Oh dear.

My last e-mail was answered in 2 days, by the time it was answered it had become irrelevant anyway. The one before that was not answered at all. I guess I have just been unlucky. As for the 'phone not being answered, that does seem a little bit odd, usually there can be a problem getting through but that is because it's engaged, not because there is nobody there...

Try a few minutes. Very minor problem with my first order. Emailed them and it was resolved in a matter of a few minutes. Will definitely order from them again, everything packaged very well.

Hi all hope those of you that have received your orders this week are enjoyin them?
We found out on Thursday that there was an opportunity to go to the warehouse on Friday as my brothers were going to some auctions up in Notts. Of course lovin the food, prices and service we had received in the past from Dan and the team we jumped at the chance lol.
We emailed them on Thursday afternoon to ask if our 2 orders had been dispatched and if they hadnt if we could pick them up on Friday. We had a response I'd say within the hour saying one had been dispatched but we could pick the other up.
Well I have to say that it was just aswell that one order had been dispatched as we filled the huge boot in the car and the backseat between the order we picked up and the stuff we bought whilst we were there.
As always we found the trip to be pleasant and very satisfying lol.
I just wanted to say on behalf of myself and my mum a massive thank you to Dan, Sally and all the staff at AF for their help yesterday and today. You really all went out of your way to help and accomodate us today and poor Sally who turned up early for work got accossted by us and even opened up early which was really appreciated.
Once again we can't find fault with anything and are already looking forward to our next trip up to see you all. xxxx
