My second order arrived this morning (ordered 3rd March) in two huuuuuge boxes. Is it sad that it made me really excited? Got subs for the chocolate Nutrigrain bars so now have a cupboard full of satay kits! Hope we like them!

The satay kits are really nice, I bought a lot of them last time I ordered as we all like it. Seems an odd thing to substitute for nutri-grain bars though! :p

Received my 4th order today put in on the 4th March.

Some of the items ordered had arrived in a bit of a sorry state. It was they way they had been packed.

I did email Dan to let him know and he called me back immediately and we had a nice chat and he offered a refund. I accepted.

I also received a substitute for the Nutri Grain Bars!

I'm really happy with my order and with the efficiency of the AF team. Thumbs up Dan and it was lovely to talk to you again and nice to be remembered!
  • Right guys! I really need some convincing!

I am still undecided about making a trip to approved foods next month! I was 100% certain I would go a few days ago, but keep talking myself out of it, just don't know if I can justify the extra miles and the money spent on an over night stop.

I have tried to ring approved foods to speak to Dan as I would really like reassurance that the warehouse will be open and what kind of things I might expect to find on sale, but haven't been able to speak with him.

    I need some persuasion! Help!

Just my opinion, but if it is a long drive and overnight stay just for the purpose of going to the warehouse then it seems like a lot of trouble/cost to go to when for £7.50 delivery you can now get 28kg. If on the other hand youare combining it with say a family visit, or day out, then it seems a good idea.

Well it kinda is and kinda not combined with another trip.

I am travelling to Manchester from Cornwall and as Approved foods is kinda close to Manchester I thought it would be worth detouring. It's an extra 60 miles on my route if I detour. As I am worried about trying to do it all in day I have decided a stop over hotel might be a good idea.

I am thinking I should as I probably wont be that far up the country again for a while but also think maybe an extra 60 miles is too much just for some cheap food?
  • I agree unless you have a massive order to pick up or other reasons to travel why not just order the 28kg .
That is a lot of food:D
  • I can agree that 28kg is alot of food, but what puts me off the online service is chance of the things you ordered not being in stock. At least if I go to the warehouse I can see what's what and know what I am buying is there.

I think that I may just have to go, because if I don't I will kick myself and think I should have gone, kinda like the "what if" curiousity lol
  • Aha you posted before I clicked submit:mad: .

If you are only going to be 60 miles away I would definitely say go visit :D .

As Pinkprincess has done before you make sure you have plenty of room in your car tho:D
