Still not received my order,have emailed but got no reply,when I phoned the new phone number guy who answered said he could not help but Dan would phone in a few minutes still heard nothing, tried phoning again this morning and all you get is answer phone come on Dan try and get things back up and running as they used to be.

is it just me or does anyone else think the selection on there is a bit poor and unexciting at the moment? A lot of the stuff seems to have been there for a while and there hasn't been anything new at all added in the last 4 days.

There was a recent reference to stocktaking, and there have been rumours of a warehouse move, so perhaps that's the explanation.

Well if the recent blitz of emails is anything to go by they supposedly have some new stuff. I had an email every hour this morning listing things they think I should take a look at!

Maybe it's because I used to spend a fortune with them and I haven't ordered since they "upgraded" the site. Must get them to remove me from the mailing list, because nothing I've seen mentioned seems particularly new or inspiring, just seems to be more obscure or speciality stuff rather than 'cheaper basics' that would be worth the effort of trying to navigate a very poorly designed site which has become a total nightmare to use. Pity because there were a few bargains that I particularly liked but I've given up, I'm afraid they've lost me as a customer.

I received a delivery yesterday, only it's not mine! The kids opened it and packed it away (and helped themselves to some of it!) and they've helpfully lost the delivery note I've had an email from the lady who should have received it and she appears to have received my order (they were similar, but mines smaller). Niether of us have heard anything from AF yet.........

Has this happened to anyone else?

i placed an order on sunday, first one in a VERY long time,

down to the items not what our family would buy,

but i should imagine there is going to be times where there might not be nothing to suit, as it all depends whats floating round the market for Dan to buy up.

i tell you what i do miss though ( which i am going to post on AF forum) are those jars of polish smoked beans and sauasge things...lol.. the kids and hubby loved them for supper, total bargin,

also the snickers, mars etc great for hubby's lunch box ..

i placed an order on sept 30th, got a 'we've received your order' email on oct 3 :eek: and still haven't received my package. today i called and let it ring til the phone just gave up on them and i've sent an email with no response

i seriously hope their system isn't so behind that it took it 3 days to actually give them the order in the first place! i love AF but i'm getting seriously tired of the longer and longer waits with poor communications, my last few orders have just been one problem after another which is why it's been so long since my last order....

i'm really hoping to get some sort of response soon as i made a large order and i'm to the point now where i NEED a lot of those items and i don't want to have to go shopping for them just to have them show up on my doorstep the next day....

I'm still working my way through substantial amounts of AF stuff which is in the garage, though I would order again if there was any juice. For me that is what makes it worthwhile- as it means the weight of my order justifies the alternate courier and I think the juice is one of the best bargains for my family. They did say they were moving- hence the warehouse clearance last week- and I hope that when they have more rooom it will be back to business as usual for them.

Totally agree, the main thing I order now is drinks, I prefer pure juice but anything non-sugary/fruity is pretty much ok. The only problem is that the drinks are all very heavy so there isn't much room for other stuff. I find that I either make a one box order with just what I really want or a two box order with a lot of extra rubbish that I shouldn't be buying, so I try hard to just get one box now!

been munching my way through the flapjack fingers all day in work...lol..

think i might have some toast tonight with the cherry preserve .. sounds posh or wot.....lol...only becuase i want the little pots to put various colour little beads in...:D and to try and make some little candles in there for chrimbo pressies
