Ratty Sounds like you are having a great day with such fab neighbours and a lovely Mum!
Must be a day for it. Dad popped round at lunchtime to discuss Mums 60th birthday and he came bearing Sirloin Steak, Wine, Gu Puds and Pepsi for OH (he's teetotal!). Love my Dad!!

Thanks guys

TBH it really helps that I live on a very small cul-de-sac with a real old fashioned community spirit. No one here has much money but favours can be traded and they're free! We all help each other out when possible but I don't think I've ever had a day like this one when all my luck seems to have arrived in one go!!
Now I need to find someone with a large slow cooker they no longer have a use for...:rotfl:
Oh...and Miss Piggy... how are you going with 'doing' Paul McKenna? *giggle*Sealed Pot #418 ('09 £414.12) ('10 £550.90) ('11 £440.60)0 -
Oh my goodness what a day - and it's only 4:30!
:jNew bed here, made and lovely - couldn't resist a little lie down !
:jSis and BIL room all ready - kicked some of the DSs stuff out!
:jQuick tidy/clean of other rooms too
:jYorkshire curd tart made - its a cheesecake made with curd or cottage cheese so not smooth like othe cheesecake. Used to have it in all the bakers where I grew up but none to be found in these parts,It looks lovely but haven't tasted it yet !
:jGammon/ham all cooked
:jVeggies all prepped
:jJust a parsley sauce to make ( don't usually bother but hey - I've got visitors!)
:j600 teenagers in my front room - well maybe not quite that many. At least they're not on the streets scaring oldies, isn't that right SM? Just scaring me with how much they EAT!
 Went to Tescos for the  parsley and came out with several other items which I probably could have done without
 Need to get OH to take old bed base to tip. Unfortunately he is not good at letting go. I expect he'll tell me he can turn it into a wardrobe or something. Everything I have ( except new bed) was once somebody elses OR something else. EG Kitchen table was a fire door. Not that I'm complaining (much) except I do wish he'd filled the bits where the handle was screwed on :rotfl:
Have a great rest of the day
PS ROFLMAO at piglet being laminated!Getting there...slowly!
GC : must do better
NSD: very rare
No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.0 -

Ratty67 Paul McKenna wouldn't know what hit him!!:rotfl:
Yorkshire Belle - I think laminating is a good idea for toddlers....they'd be much easier to look after if if they were nice and easy to wipe clean!!:D
