Just wanted to add something and maybe gauge your opinions...

We're due to move house in a months time (our first purchase) and I've promised OH he can at long last have Sky (Sky HD thing). I've worked it out to be £51 a month to include Sky Movies, the HD package and box, 2 entertainment packages, good broadband AND line rental. We currently pay £29 to BT for line rental and broadband and have Love Film (which has been free 'til now but is about £10 a month normally) - so we currently spend £39... meaning it' will be a £12 a month increase.

BUT we have accidental damage whatsit on the TV which is 6.99 and I think i'll see if it's worth getting rid of that and just having it on our house insurance.. plus i'm going to tell him he should maybe cut down his 'once a week lunch' to a once a fortnight lunch (he has pack up most days). Does that sound fair? ;) x
  • Hi everyone. I can't believe it's Thursday already - why do half term weeks fly by? I've barely touched my to-do list for this week and am feeling comletely shattered today so although I have masses planned this afternoon I don't feel like I'll get much done! Debating on having a snooze for half an hour but scared I'll sleep the rest of the day :o

My car failed it's MOT yesterday (I knew it would) but total cost was only £122 inc test so not as bad as I'd imagined, but still more than I can afford!

    Anyway, today's list:

-post here to keep me on track
    - free scratchcard - 3 more fishies with lippy - 10p
    - update spending diary
    - enter at least 10 comps
    - quidco clicks
    - received £5 amazon voucher from bp so deposited that in amazon acc
    - storecupboard meals
    - heating off all day - will try and do housework and ironing to keep warm
    - using £1 rental offer to hire dvd from blockbuster tonight
    - do any surveys in inbox, no matter how boring!

think that's about it for today - have a good day, all

Fairs fair, I think, sounds good negotitions to me:D - most insurance policies coevr accidental dmage - just check first before cancelling to be on safe side.
