I think one of his worst days so far was when he had a seizure in the street. Complete strangers called an abulance for him - I wish I could thank them! - he had wet himself, and the hospital sent him to go home on the bus in his sopping wet boxer shorts. He was perished with the cold.
This a bloke who spent 20 years in the army, how humiliating for him.

The form identifies what people can and cant do, you cannot have one without the other.

If people are honest and fit the descriptors they should pass the medical. Obviously I know it does not always work out this way.
Thats not true it does not say on the form you can get failed for how you pull up your coat zip.

It is how people usually are that is required, to just say the the worst case scenario is not correct.

But is also correct, not to state how you are on a best case scenario

Disability Alliance advises that you should indicate that you can't do things if they cause you "too much pain or discomfort", it also advises that if tasks are so tiring or painful that you could not repeat it withn a reasonable time then you should treated as not able to do it. This advice is based on Commissioner's decision in case ref CIB/14587/96 (word doc.)

People should be judged on the descriptors, what I have said is correct.

I did not say to state how you are on a best case scenario. The point is people say just tell them about your worst day, this is incorrect advice.

Yes to that statement, with the enphisis on SHOULD.....But you know as well i do it is not the case.
and also case ref CIB/14587/96 (word doc.) is not above the desciptors form as it should be.
Yes people should read the advice notes or seek advice. But the forms could be made more simple

Thats why I said should. In most cases it does work out correctly, it is only the people who have problems who post on forums like this. Those that do not have problems have no reason to post.

If you look at the new ESA forms you will see they have been made more complicated and are confusing/unclear even to experts.

I dont think anybody on this thread has used the word JUST (sorry if i am wrong) It is also right to tell them how you are at your worst AND NOT be too proud... as a lot of people are.

Its the advice notes that are unclear..i think the form itself is better if you are a genuine claiment...No 3 points for instance.

Ok, but that is the impression I got. I have certainly seen people say JUST talk about your worst day and that is wrong and gives a false impression.

People should give an clear overall picture of how they are.
